"What can I say, other than WOW! I first talked to the owner (Brian) at 8:19am to tell him that I needed a water heater replacement and I sit here typing this review at 11:42am after the job is done . What, a complete hot water heater replacement in 3.5 hours from the time of first contact? Who does that!? Technicians Sam and Joseph were top notch. Super courteous guys who know their trade. Price? How about $1000 cheaper than the Len the Plumber! Call Brian at Speedy Water Heaters/Modern Plumbing Systems, you won't regret it!"

"My girlfriend called me to tell me she had just got home and there was water on the floor.  I went straight home and found the water heater leaking.  I called Bamford Plumbing and spoke to a lady who asked several questions concerning the the tank number and approximate age (in case it was still under warrenty) and she took my phone number and said she would call me right back with an estimate.  Roughly 4 minutes later she called me back to give me an estimate and unfortunately to tell me that they couldn't be out until the next afternoon.  She recommende several other plumbers in my area and said she would hold the apointment just in case I couldn't get someone out sooner.  Well I called Heidler and was told someone would call me back.  45 minutes later a technician called and said he would be out and it would cost $185.  I asked what the charge was for and he said to look at what was leaking!  I explained it was the water heater leaking and I had turned the water off to the heater at this point and he said he could come out and cut the line to the water heater for $185 and there was nothing else he could do since it was after 4pm.  Again I said I had turned the water off and to have a good night.  I called Bamford back and told the lady I wanted to keep the appointment and told her what Heidler had said and she was shocked and appologized for what had happened and suggesting them as someone to call.
I received a call from Bamford in the morning to give me an approximate arrival time.  They arrived in the early afternoon as promised and replaced my water heater and necessary fitting.  They also had to install a inline preassure tank as required by Anne Arundel county, since there wasn't one at no additional charge.

"He found some mold in a water line and used bleach to clean it. In all the 15 years I've had the system checked, no one every found that or told me about it. He showed me a function of my thermostat that I did not know about.
The technician was polite, punctual, and seemed knowledgeable. I would definitely use this company again.

"Vince told me outdoor spigot could be repaired and did not need to be replaced which saved me money. He also replaced a vanity faucet which I provided. He was quick, efficient and honest. The most important thing was he discovered a serious problem with the way my water heater was vented. The exhaust pipe had been cut wrong and glued together. It was ready to come apart and could have vented carbon monoxide into the basement. (We do have CO detectors but this is still scary) We had this water heater installed a couple of years ago by another well known local firm that I don't know if I can name here. It did fail inspection by Howard County 3 times after initial install. Failure was all related to the vent and probably should have never passed. Anyway, by pure luck it was discovered and fixed. Thank you Vince!!"

"Fritz B. was my sales rep and he clearly knew what he was doing, including making a few minor recommendations that were in my financial interest. Easy to set up the scope of work. The grew was great, came in and did a great job, took about 6 hours. They even rerouted the exhaust flue for my hot water heater even though they did not replace the heater because the install guy Chris said "they did this dumb". Overall a great experience and I would recommend."
