"This customer asked us to come fix his faucet. We arrived to find a broken faucet (which he knew - yes) the faucet (since there are 100's) out in the world today was one we did not carry and did not have parts for (because we cannot carry everything that is out there; sometimes we need to order parts to fix things). We explained to him we did not have the part needed, what he needed and suggested he call the manufacturer because often the manufacturer will send you replacement parts at no cost but only to the consumer themselves. We tried to help him by suggesting he get the part from the manufacturer. We took our time to come over and address the issue and even said we will not charge right now we will keep the ticket open with our time open and come back when you get the part and we will install for you. We never heard back from him. We called to check on the status and see if he got the part and he was very angry and began yelling at us to even asking if we should come back to install the part. We did not expect that and proceeded to say if you already have the part and it's fixed we will just need to collect a minimum charge for our time in coming out on the initial visit. We ask for a minimum charge for our trip to his house and for diagnosing the part needed. This is why he is upset. I'm sorry but our time is valuable just as his time is and we should be compensated for our time in coming out. We did not know he was not going to have us back and we did not know at the time we did not have the part needed when we came to the initial appointment. Therefore, asking him to pay for our time is not unreasonable but to him it is."

"We are very sorry you feel we did not meet your needs. We were called to your rental property for a leak through the ceiling & found your toilet upstairs leaking thru the ceiling. We removed your toilet, replaced the broken flange (found when pulled toilet) & reset toilet with new flange, wax ring & bolts. After several tests the toilet was flushing just fine and the leak had stopped. The tenant said no further issues and we called you to report it was working properly. Two days later on Monday you called us to say the sewer was backed up and after several phone calls and moving around and rearranging our schedule we got a team together to meet your husband at the house by 8:30am. We found a sewer clog indeed and pulled out wads of tampons and paper towels. We advised these items cannot be flushed and reminded you theses were the same items that stopped your sewer up last year when you had a sewer emergency. We cleared these, tested and found it was clogging up again. We moved further down the line, went to the clean-out and re-snaked. We unclogged here and then found the line to release and flow freely. We tested several times and all was working properly. We did in fact suggest that the line be camera-ed in case there was an additional problem with the sewer but that was declined because of costs associated with it. We wrapped up and left with everything working properly at this time. Then several days later, received yet another call stating there was "the same backup" as stated by Owner. We offered to come out w/camera and the owner once again declined and denied any flushing of tampons and paper towels previously; then began to once again state "we did not solve the issue". We took the time to again explain why a camera would be important when we come back and explain that there is a long run to the street from the house and it was possible maybe a fitting/clean-out was broken in the center of the driveway. The owner declined and later told us they hired another company."
