What, a complete hot water heater replacement in 3.5 hours from the time of first contact? Who does that!? Technicians Sam and Joseph were top notch. Super courteous guys who know their trade. Price? "Saved by Ehrhardt Brothers Quality Plumbing (a.k.a ColumbiaPlumber)! (West of Baltimore) Our gas water-heater failed! It’s 30° outside! (Mar 2026). It was leaking, so we shut off the gas, the pilot, and the water inlet, to lessen damage if it burst. Ehrhardt offered a price based on our descriptions and photos, of course with caveats for anything unexpected. A water-heater costs a pretty-penny, but less than we expected. A fair price. They came the next morning, and had the water heater replaced in 90min. Impressive. But the manufacturer sent a unit with a bad pilot! Ehrhardt returned immediately and in 30min, they figured it out. They had a replacement part over-nighted. The next morning, in 30min, done. Hot water. AAAAAHHH :-) The problem was the manufacturer’s fault, and Ehrhardt handled it flawlessly: Excellent communication by Ehrhardt, priority attention to our problem, no excuses, just fast resolution. Great service staff. Perfect!"

"Fritz B. was my sales rep and he clearly knew what he was doing, including making a few minor recommendations that were in my financial interest. Easy to set up the scope of work. The grew was great, came in and did a great job, took about 6 hours. They even rerouted the exhaust flue for my hot water heater even though they did not replace the heater because the install guy Chris said "they did this dumb". Overall a great experience and I would recommend."

"Well let me start by saying I called several water heater companies to inquire about an estimate for my hot water heater that was not getting real hot. He was the ONLY repair person to come out that gave me the feeling he was trying to fix my hot water heater and not trying to sale me a new hot water. I never had a hot water heater water heater issue before therefore i was not familar with pontential problems. Everbody tried to get me to buy something called elements without actually trying to fix my heater. Wallace plumbing was able to identify some pressure thing or something with the thermostat that he fixed and saved me pontially thousands of dollars that other companies tried to sales pitch me. I then called Wallace plumbing because my toliet kept running and Wallace came out and fixed my toliet in minutes and his prices are very affordable. I will be using Wallace plumbing for any future needs and I recommend them!"

He was respectful and hardworking. He came on time and finished the job on time, the project was top notch. His price was very reasonable compared to others."

"This was a last second thing. Our hot water heater died on us. Left him a message on Tuesday afternoon. He showed up first thing next morning. Right on time. Discussed the job and he gave me a estimate with a small window. And he said he could have me back with hot water in a few hours. Sure enough less then 3 hours later I’m back running. Very good and clean job. Very professional with all aspects of the job which was nice. Best part of it all when it’s time to pay his his price was barely over the low end of his estimate. Everyone else would most likely been barely under the top end of their estimate. So a very good clean job done as a rush for a good price."

"Our office needed a replacement water heater installed. Heil was very responsive to my multiple emails and calls. We did have to pay an additional fee of $250 to expedite the replacement due to the water heater not being currently available in their personal inventory. So far, we are pleased with the replacement. The price paid was almost a third of what other companies estimated."
