"My new shower replacement went very well and I would rate it a 5, assuming that is the good end of the scale. I was very happy with the available selection of materials, the availability of custom sizing, and the overall interaction with the planner. I appreciated the ability to reschedule after a 19 hour power outage collided with the first attempt to install. When they came back the shower installation team did a beautiful job and made the extra effort to keep the house clean while they worked. They did all the work in under a day. The glass installation team was just as professional and efficient installing the frameless glass sides and door. The finished shower is beautiful and everything I hoped for when we started. "Ronald and his partner were punctual each day and trustworthy. We had a large job to install marble shower with stone/concrete floor, detailed inlay and shower niche. Ronald picked up all the supplies for us and helped pick out the best match. His attention to detail was evident in the results. We were also very happy with replacement of tile in the hallway/entryway with stone travertine. They were very accommodating to install transitions and new stair and ensure everything was sealed. "Walter, his son Brandon, and the entire crew were professional, personable, and skilled. Walter was very accomodating while still being able to point out why specific ideas weren't feasible and offered suggestions that enhanced our original vision! I've already met with Walter again to discuss my next project with him. I don't know that I'll look to anyone else from now on. Much like my Plumbing/Heating team, once I have a good relationship with a contractor, I tend not to let go. My basement went from a child's play place, last updated in 2004. Walter and his team helped create an 'adult' basement, complete with a handicap-accessible full bathroom for my husband. The team kept the project on schedule, coming in on a Sunday to finish necessary prep work before the tiler came in the following morning. Walter checked in almost every morning, checking in before moving to another project. I appreciate that in the General Contractor, to address concerns in real-time. He included a few quick fixes for me - mounting new air return vents and replacing the kitchen faucet, which I am grateful to have finally completed! Eventually, Walter's Home Improvement will recreate every level of my house. I've been here 27 years, and have found a business that can help me create my dream house (read: NO KIDS!!) p.s. "Contract Gary with Perry Hall Remodeling after reading reviews on this site.  After initial consultation we decided to have the shower expanded by 12' with new shower door and recessed alcove (shelf).  All bathroom wall and floor tiles replaced.  All non tile walls and ceiling repainted.  New lighting fixtures and new towel bar installed.  We ordered all requested materials and work started on 9/9/2014.  The workers arrived on time and were knowledgeable and professional.  This work required new walls to be installed so there was quite a bit of demolition on the first day.  As with many projects several unexpected issues cam up, but Gary and his crew dealt with them professionally and efficiently.  The recessed alcove was a suggestion by on of the crew.  It turned out great.  This remodel took a total of eight days.  The new bathroom looks outstanding!  I highly recommend Perry Hall Remodeling to anyone looking to change and/or upgrade their residence.
