"If I could give them zero stars I would. I did not hire them, but my neighbor did and while on the premises they drove there truck over my yard creating deep groves and I was watching the whole time. You can see they have no regard for others property. They finally stopped and left the wheel on my property. I got dressed and when out and told them to get it off my property or that part of the truck may become damaged. They moved it but I could hear that driver was not happy and I could hear him mumble, don't threaten him or else. I live next door to a good neighbor who hired Clarksburg Plumbing LLC. While watching them back up in the neighbors driveway, they kept backing onto my property on the grass and eventually leaving part of the truck on my grass with a trailer of some sort. It left multiple dents and groves in the lawn when I saw they were not going to move the truck off my grass and even a small portion of that driveway is on my property. I went out and told them to remove this off my property. They finally did but I should not had to go out to tell them. I asked one for a business card and he gave one to me and I called there office. Besides being rude all they offered to do is throw some seed on it. I told them the grass was not damaged but the weight of the truck smashed down the grass into the dirt and it needed to be lifted up with a pitch fork. She said I threaten her worker and was going to call the police so I called the police and they came out and talked to all of us and said this was a civil matter and left, So I assume the workers told the truth because I did not threaten any of them. I assume I spoke to the owners wife and she was nasty and rude. I told her what needed to be done and it has to be lifted up with a pitch fork like I have done in the past but she said she would not come on my property unless a police officer was there but them she declined doing that since I threaten them. I asked if she would rather get an estimate and she said do what ever I want because she is not paying or fixing anything. I told her we can go to court and let the court decide and said I can look up there Corporation but she said they were not a Corporation. The fact is they are listed as an LLC which is a limited liability Corporation. I also looked up in court records and see they have been in court a number of times. This lady and I use the word Lady very generously is one nasty woman. I would not recommend hiring this company to change a faucet or even unclog a drain. If they damage something, I am sure it will be your fault. I know this house well and did most repairs for the old neighbor for free, so I am very aware of the issue and problem the new neighbor is having because the old neighbor never had it fixed. The people at Clarksburg told these new resident that this problem happened because the drain pipes were old as in original but this pipe was replaced maybe 15 years ago. and you can see it was by the clean out they generally leave in the yard. One thing I do not understand is with all the bad and horrendous reviews, no one ever mentions they took them to court. It is very easy to file small claims in Maryland. I will be filing when I get well and get a few estimates. Not a big deal to do. You get just what you pay for and sometimes less and Clarksburg Plumbing, you can be sure to get less"

"American Home Contractors and Hugo in particular were great to work with. We had multiple jobs done which required several trips and Hugo kept us informed and worked around several weather delays. He relocated and installed a new attic fan, hooked up the bathroom fan to a new roof vent, insulated a pipe in the attic, installed apron flashing on four windows, painted the flue vent, reconnected some lose siding and replaced three pieces of rotted trim and painted it. The work appears to be top notch and we appreciate the hard work and long hours Hugo put in! I would definitely recommend this company and most certainly Hugo to everyone. We also had American Home Contractors replace our gutters and install gutter guards. They did an excellent job with that as well."
