The plumber did an excellent job of figuring out what had to be done. He fixed both issues. The outside faucet and the valve that shuts down the water for the winter. The work was done very neatly and with precision. I will all my pipes looked like that new one.

The pipe connected to the shower head in the master bath corroded which created a leak, and then broke off. As a result, we contacted 24/7 plumbing to see what would be needed to fix the issue. Their plumber came out to the house and stated that the pipe looked like it was galvanized, and if so could not be fixed. He then stated in order to find our for sure he needed to go through the wall directly behind the shower and also go through the wall on the side of the shower to make sure he could see the pipe. We then asked him who would be able to repair the wall and he stated that their plumbers are advised "to destroy what is necessary to fix the problem" and that they would not fix the walls after going through the dry wall. We then asked the plumber, but what if it's galvanized as you stated before? He sated that they would not be able to fix it again. We decided not to let him knock down 2 walls to access the pipe knowing that if it was galvanized he could not fix it. We would then be left with damaged walls to fix and still no use of the shower. We got a second opinion from Putnam Plumbing and they came out the next day. The plumber Patrick reached into the wall where the pipe was corroded with long pliers, took out the old thread that broke off and then reconnected the pipe which is galvanized to the shower head fixing the shower. He then advised us about the acidity of the water which would have caused the corrosion and options for how to take care of it in the future. The whole visit took 15 minutes. Lesson learned. Never using 24/7 ever again and always turning to Putman for any plumbing related issues.

Putman was awesome. They've provided good service for years, but this was an emergency (friends flying in! no water!). In spite of an already full schedule, they installed a new well pump and water tank for us today. We are sooooo grateful to them!

I had to have them out twice in a short period of time for two separate "emergency" jobs. The first was a cold water release value went bad and was causing some flooding on my second floor and causing a pipe to freeze outside from the constant water flow. Patrick came in and plugged that and installed an expansion tank. A couple days later I had a water pipe freeze and burst in my kitchen and they came back out and repaired that as well. I was so impressed with the professionalism and expertise of Patrick and his company. The entire company's customer service from the time I called until the job was done was fantastic.

The plumber arrived right on time and I walked him through all the problems mentioned above. He spent a few minutes working through a book of parts prices and, I think, standard labor hours and came up with a specific price for each of the items I wanted fixed (all four valves on two faucets, even though only two valves we’re leaking, plus the basin drain and the reversed supply lines). The prices seemed reasonable and Putman had been highly rated on Angie’s list so I asked him to do all the repairs. He finished everything fairly quickly (the longest thing was waiting for pipe cement to harden before turning the water back on. He left everything clean and dry. Later, I had opportunity to discover that Putman stands behind their work. About two hours after the plumber left I discovered that one of the new shut-off valves was leaking. I called the office and explained the problem and asked if the plumber could return that day or the next (I was capturing the leaking water in a bowl so it wasn’t an urgent issue). They said the plumber would return when he had finished the day’s scheduled customers. He arrived a couple of hours later. The leaking valve had a defect that allowed the leak to develop. Two of its parts not been joined properly. The plumber replaced that valve with another new one and we haven’t had a problem since. I was very happy with Putman. The office was very responsive during both my initial scheduling and the subsequent call-back. The plumber who did the work was efficient and friendly. He even offered some advice about maintaining parts lists for our Kohler fixtures bacause parts can be hard to identify for their older products. I will definitely use Putman again when the need arises.

I called a plumber recommended by a neighbor. I knew where the well was within a 6 foot radius and that there was a copper pipe near the surface. The plumber went in the basement, came back and said it was in the woods. I knew it was not. He halfheartedly dug around the area about 6 inches down. No luck. I called Putman Plumbing. They called an electrician who used some device to try to locate the wiring that led to the well. No luck. The owner of Putman Plumbing came, went into the basement and analyzed where the line came into the house. He came back, pointed and said, "Dig there" and there was the copper pipe. Putman Plumbing worked on the problem until it was resolved and the house had water that same day.

I was thrilled with how quickly they were able to come for the first visit. When they returned a month later to permanently fix the problem both gentlemen were very professional, courteous, and punctual. Since they had to cut through the drywall, it was a messy job but they thoroughly cleaned up after the job was finished. I have found a permanent plumber. Thank you Mr. Putman and your team for being so wonderful.

I use to do all plumbing repairs myself but as I got older, it became more difficult. So, needless to say, we had several minor plumbing repair jobs that needed done. I called Putman Plumbing and they sent Mike. Mike is great. He explained everything very well and itemized every repair. He is very professional and personable. They were very friendly, hard-working and helpful. They completed the replacement efficiently and effectively in less time that I had expected. They answered a bunch of questions that I had and completed a rough estimate on a remodel to make a bathroom handicapped accessible. All of this completed in less than an hour.

Our regular plumber was crazy booked, and I wasn't willing to live without a bathroom for a week or so, so we checked Angie's List and called Putnam. They were able to fit us in the next day. They were prompt, helpful, and stuck around until they were sure the problem was resolved (even though they had to call in someone else to pump the septic). They also gave us some pro-biotic stuff to put in our septic once a month in the hopes of repairing some of the damage done by previous tenants (the house was being rented before we bought it) with toxic chemicals and plastics flushed down the toilet. I would definitely call them again.

Great job and quick service. Mike arrived about an hour after calling Putman and completed the work in about 2 hours. He was very professional and completely cleaned up the job site. The price was very reasonable.

We have used them. We were very happy with their service. It was a lot of money. He had to cut holes it the walls and everything. It was a pretty big job. When it happened, it happened in the evening, so they were willing to come quickly, at off hours. They had to cut a hole in the wall but they took the time to figure out which way would be least destructive to the house. The only thing I had trouble with was the cost and it could very well have been the standing rate. It was a big job. It wasn't a small job. I don't have a comparison and we had our backs up against the wall because there was water pouring in the house and everything. I don't have a comparison so I don't want to be unfair.

And that can hurt. This included two separate calls, some additional work on the return to ward off another issue in another area, and an after hours dispatch fee higher than the normal dispatch for your area due to the emergency call coming in after business hours and needing immediate attention. You do indicate you would use us again, so hopefully the quick response and how we handled the situation and your home out weighs the cost. Sometimes peace of mind is simply priceless."

They offer a yearly membership that if you join they do an annual check up on your home and send coupons out all the time throughout the year for $60 you can credit toward services you have done with them. I saved a lot of money on a recent plumbing project. They are a family owned father and son business.

I called the company shortly after they opened for the day. Despite having a stack of service requests that had come in while they were closed, they were able to have someone here about an hour and a half later. Mathew was extremely knowledgeable and was able to redo all of my husbands failing piping in less than two hours. Amazing service and he said its all guaranteed for a year. Im very satisfied.
