"Basement Remodeling just completed our basement remodeling project, on time and on budget. We couldn’t be more pleased! We investigated other remodeling companies but chose Basement Remodeling after our discussions with Eric, in part because we believed we could count on their expertise in handling the inevitable quirks of renovating a 70 year old house. Our project (and budget) was probably fairly modest when compared to many remodeling projects, and Eric offered suggestions for inexpensive problem solving (rehanging existing doors, for example) rather than trying to upsell us on other, more costly solutions. We fully renovated about one-third of the basement space which included the furnace, water heater and a small but completely unfinished laundry area. Basement Remodeling created an enclosed area for the furnace and water heater and neatly disguised the electric panel, adding a well-designed, efficient and attractive wet bar with cabinetry, appliances and a custom pantry. The renovation also included cosmetic upgrades to the rest of the basement space, adding new flooring and fresh paint. The space now looks absolutely terrific! The company took care of everything, from permitting to cleanup, and every person on the team was thoughtful, responsive and a pleasure to work with. "We would like to say thank you to KBA Kitchen & Bath Design & Build for a great job remodeling our two upstairs bathrooms. The two bathrooms were completely renovated in 5 weeks, but it could have been finished even sooner if we hadn’t selected a premium option for our shower glass enclosure. The entire project was started and finished between January 21, 2025 until February 28, 2025, which included the crew working two Saturdays, which shows their dedication in getting the job done. We were very impressed with KBA over the entire project! Specifically, we were impressed at how smooth and efficient the entire process was. It was seamless – from the initial consultation to the execution of the job. The designer, Anna, was very thorough and helpful in sketching the designs of new bathrooms and offering advice on recommended materials for the bathroom, to include going above and beyond in helping us choose just the right paint colors to perfectly blend with our newly installed bathroom accessories. Anna and Ervin both made after hour visits to provide their insight on color schemes and where bathroom accessories should be installed and look best. The lead project manager, Ervin, was always there to answer our questions, and he went out of his way to always ensure we were happy customers! Ervin also visited on many occasions to give us updates on project progress and keeping his crew updated on any changes. The installation team always showed up on time, left the work area clean, and went above and beyond to make our design a reality. Anna, Ervin and the crew were always very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout this project. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome as we absolutely love our bathrooms! "Our place had good bones but didn’t work for our daily life. Every room felt cut off from the next. Ben and Teddy from Top Remodeling sat with us and came up with a better layout without changing the size of the home. They moved the hallway, opened the living area, and added a custom touch in almost every room. They rebuilt the inside from the studs and used solid-core doors and clean finishes. We went with soft white walls, bronze handles, and natural maple cabinets. Now, it all feels open and calm. Every room has a purpose."

"Jerry was friendly, efficient, straight-talking, and didn't try to upsell us. We didn't need (or want) a lot of design input and had a strong sense for the types of tile and fixtures we wanted. Many of the other contractors who came to give quotes pushed design services or strongly encouraged us to purchase low-quality tile/fixtures through their suppliers, but this wasn't the case with S & J. Elias was fantastic--he helped confirm our tiles and fixtures were appropriate before we finalized our purchases, and we appreciated his attention to detail throughout the process."

"All work was completed in a professional manner from initial planning through all phases of construction. The job site was maintained as expected. AES worked with us on a few small changes we requested along the way as well. I felt very comfortable with all the craftsperson’s at work in our home. There was great communication with AES throughout the job. I would use their services in the future."

"Jimmy showed up to my home during a time when my thermostat was not working. That issue was fixed. He sold me a services contract and told me when he returned to services the units, he will cover the pipes outdoors. I purchased the contract for twice per year maintenance. I scheduled with him for a specific date. Appointment was confirmed but Jimmy did not show. When I called, he it appears that he forgot my appointment and he rescheduled saying he could not work in the rain. He rescheduled for a few days after and one of his workers showed up (Carlos). The guy showed up looking like he was someone who does not want to work and unprepared. So, I asked him if he has filters and he said know. Jimmy's workman did not bring filter, so I offered him filters I had stored. I asked him if he bought things to cover the pipes at the back, he said no. I called and left a message for Jimmy. Carlos was so rude and unprofessional. I was so scared of him and the way he was behaving. Carlos then said he would NOT do any service. IT WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME. He did return my money. BUT I will not recommend him. Will NOT use him again. As woman I will not hire again. Customer services was poor, reliability and punctuality poor."
