"The provider changed two toilets in my house. He pick them up at the plumbing supply,  He brought them to my home and installed them at the time that we had prearranged.  My house was left clean. He was professional explained what he was going to do and did a beautiful job with the toilets.  He was reasonably priced and I would highly recommend him ."

"I have invested in residential real estate for more than 30 years.  Renovating kitchens and bathrooms has been a regular part of the marketing process.  Since Stone Depot opened 6 years ago, I have relied on them to complete 15 or more such projects.  In each case, Nick Pappas, the owner and every member of his team, have consistently demonstrated a degree of professional concern, attention to detail, and quality control that always met or exceeded my demanding expectations.  And I have never experienced shoddy workmanship, cost overruns, or scheduling problems.  Indeed, when a project presented a special challenge such as an unusually small space or imperfectly constructed walls, Nick actually supervised the cabinet or counter installation.  I would strongly recommend Stone Depot to anyone planning such a project.  L. "I think I talked directly to the owner. Porcelite scheduled service within a week. Technician arrived a few minutes early, got the job done, presented the bill and got out of my hair. I didn't even need to move my sink cabinet which is within a couple of inches of the tub."

"We used them several years ago and were much happier then. They did not take as much care with color selection this time as they did last time and the service was less professional. The subcontractor that did the tiling and sink installation was very good. Make sure you are very clear about the colors before any work is done."

"Great work by CJ & Ron!  CJ came out to my house a week prior to take a look at my set up and gave me an estimate.  He was thorough in discussing all the options of how I'd like to install the softener.
Everything went well at the time of service too.  Their work was solid and they made sure they cleaned up after everything was done.

Overall, it went very well.  The first day, the workers removed the old countertop and sink.  They then installed the new countertops and sink.  The second day, the workers connected the plumbing for the sink and disposal and started on the under cabinet lighting.  The third day they finished the under cabinet lighting, spackled and repainted the walls cut to install the wiring for the lighting.

When the workers were here, they did a great job and handled themselves professionally.  The only complaint I had was that on the 2nd day, the workers did not show until around 12:30 when I had expected them around 10.  They had gotten stuck at a earlier job, but it was not communicated to me until I called and asked where they were.  Other than that, the work looks great and gets compliments from guests and visitors to the house.  I would use KBR again for any kitchen or bath needs.

Sink Installation FAQs, answered by experts

Natural stone stinks require sealing before installation because they have a porous surface susceptible to staining and damage. Quartz is much denser than natural stone, making it non-porous and resistant to stains or absorption. Because quartz is a composite material, it doesn’t need to be sealed before daily use.

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

Yes, you can install a farmhouse sink on an existing countertop—but there are some caveats. You’ll need to precisely measure. It’s best to choose a sink that’s the same dimensions as your existing sink, since your contractor won’t have to cut the countertop. Otherwise, pay close attention to the depth of your counter (the front to back measurement). You don’t want to install something that’s so big it sticks out beyond your countertop and cabinetry.

Leaks, clogged drains, cracked basins, and worn-out seals are common problems that may require professional repair.

The average cost to hire a plumber is typically between $45 and $200 per hour, with a common average rate around $125 per hour. This cost can vary based on your location, the plumber's experience, and the complexity of the job. Rates are often broken down by experience level: an apprentice may charge $45 to $90 an hour, a journeyman $60 to $110 an hour, and a master plumber $80 to $200 an hour. While hourly rates are standard, some plumbers may charge a flat fee for routine projects or offer project-based pricing. It's also common for plumbers to charge a minimum service or trip fee. For reference, some typical flat-rate costs for common jobs include: drain unclogging ($220), leaky faucet repair ($270), burst pipe repair ($400), toilet repair ($300), and water heater repair ($600). Note that these rates are for standard service hours; emergency, holiday, and after-hours calls will cost significantly more.
