Mark was great.  Very professional and he obviously knows his business as judged by the outsanding final results.  He showed up on time and completed the work ahead of schedule.  I would not hesitate to use him again in the future and highly recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

Mark really knows his craft. He analyzes the paper to be installed and adjusts accordingly to make it look its best. He is so good he is often not available immediately but is worth the wait. He is also a lot of fun to have around.

We contracted for wallpaper removal and install. Mark ended up painting, installing new tile flooring, granite counter top, sinks, and bathroom hardware. He was professional, creative, resourceful, and reasonable. He is a nice guy to boot. He is our new all purpose contractor and we would use him again in a minute.

Mark is a hidden treasure. We were only able to find him through a personal referral from our painter. Mark was responsive right from the start. We initially called him on a Saturday and he was at our house on Sunday to start the estimate. We knew what we wanted but we weren't quite sure how to go about it. Mark was able to talk us through how we could accomplish our goals. With regard to the wallpaper removal, he was very candid that the walls may be in rough shape once he got the old wallpaper off and that that may alter his estimate. The wallpaper came off quickly and Mark did have to put significant effort into prepping the walls to be paint ready especially in the two story stair well. Mark was terrific about letting us add a few more items to his to-do list. He did other drywall repairs for us in rooms where there was no wallpaper, but he knew that the imperfections would show once they were painted.
Mark's craftsmanship really came through with the molding work he did. Our house was built in the seventies so we had short (2and quot;) builder grade molding. We wanted to upgrade the look by replacing the base molding with higher, modern 5.5and quot; molding. Mark faced several challenges on this including different floor heights and transitioning corners that had to line up with existing wainscotting. I can't tell you how wonderful it looks. The detailing and the finishing are meticulous. We threw Mark another curve because the old molding on the hallway floor had large shoe molding to cover up the fact that the floor didn't end flush with the wall. We really didn't want to put shoe molding back up so Mark used a layering technique to extend the base molding out far enough to cover the gaps. Mark also had to extend some crown molding that ended abruptly in our living room. He seemlessly matched his extension to the existing molding.
Not only is the work product top quality but Mark was fun to have around the house. He got along great with our dogs, put up with me playing seventies rock all Saturday morning and engaged in all manner of conversation. Mark's professionalism quickly came through and he became such a trusted advisor that we were comfortable having him continue to work in the house while we were out of town.
I know Mark is very busy, but I'm hoping to talk him into coming back in the future for the phase II part of my renovation.

You can't go wrong by hiring Mark.

The job was excellent. It was very satisfying and if in the future I will be needing the same services again, I will contact this contractor again.

Mark is incredibly perfectionistic. When I contacted Mark, he set up an appointment for an estimate and arrived when promised. The estimate was sent promptly via email and the work performed as scheduled. There were a few glitches - the 30 year old paper was over even older contact paper in some places! The walls had lots of imperfections that became evident once the paper was off. Mark managed to accomplish a potentially messy job in an immaculate manner. He even washed our kitchen floor when he was finished! We would definitely hire him again.
