Communication: Scheduling the initial estimate was easy, but the back-and-forth communication required to finalize the many detailed options was a bit slow; however, the owner Scott Halle interceded and timely communication continued throughout the rest of the process. Scoping Work: This is where Zen Windows really excels, primarily because of the vast knowledge of James Bond. We wanted to replace the single door with side transoms with something that would maximize the opening space. James expertly walked us through the options with cost and wall modification comparisons. In addition, the header above the current door was swelling and pinning the door, and James evaluated the issue, likely water seeping down from an unflashed deck, and provided peace of mind his guys could fix it on site during installation. Quality of Work: Frankly, 75-80% of contractors fail here for three primary reasons: a horrible handoff from the product specialist to the onsite project foreman, project foreman and workers making assumptions about details vice asking the customer, and lack of quality detailed work. The foreman excelled in these areas ensuring we were on the same page for various details such as casing, caulking, and external trim. In addition, he completely replaced the rotted wood structure above and along the sides of the door and added customer-provided insulation where there were gaps. To keep the project on track, they brought in another expert worker and management arrived to ensure the quality of work was high. The end product was beautiful. Pricing: Price was the best of three highly ranked Angie’s List companies. Zen Windows’ expertise, willingness to explain the details of the project, timely communication, and excellent work took the hassle out of this project."

"From the quote to the completion of the installation, we were very happy that we chose Unicorp. We did a full (28 windows) window replacement and 1 exterior and storm door replacement. The windows are the Prodigy by Uncorp windows and they are beautiful and well-made, and the price was more than competitive with the other quotes we received. Our house is 100 years old and still had the original windows, so it was a very challenging and lengthy installation, but their installer did an excellent and very thorough job. "Thomas M was an excellent technician and did great work fixing all the basement windows around the house. These windows are difficult to find a replacement but he was able to repair and repaint them. The other technician was Pablo He worked on caulking all the windows around the house and he did some filling work on the garage sliding doors You did a good job, but Pablo left his trash around and didn’t pick up after himself so Thomas M and I did that on the third day. It took three days total, but it was two men for two days and one man for a 3/4 of a day actually. Although I’ll probably get charged for a full day, since it went past noon. The labor portion is the most expensive and a little higher than I initially anticipated. So, I was hoping for a quicker turnaround, but overall quality work was completed. I would highly recommend Thomas M as a technician to do future work. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and does a great job. I would hire again but include more details in the contract language."

"Presidential Exteriors is a well-managed company. We had twenty-five, very large, windows, two large sliding glass doors and the front door replaced. Everyone, starting with the young man who approached us to talk about the company, the salespeople and the team doing the work was professional, polite, honest, pleasant and super careful. The windows, sliding glass doors and the front door look amazing. Our house is fifty-two-years old and badly needed to be "refreshed". The quality of their products is excellent. While the work was being done, several people from the company came by to check on the progress. After the job was completed, we met with Ben who came by to do a final inspection and answer any questions or concerns we may have. The crew cleaned up and vacuumed before they left. We will use Presidential Exteriors again to replace another door."
