"I have been in touch with Clint from S&S since October 6th. I want to start by saying that Clint has great customer service skills, but I am just not happy with the time frame or end result. When I initially reached out to him, I requested that he take a look at my stores rear door as it is decaying. He came out that same week, but I did have to chase him a bit for the estimate. Fast forward to Mid-November where I reached back out to Clint requesting that he come in to evaluate our front door now as we had multiple break in's and are in need of putting in place more security measures. He was finally able to come on December 2nd to evaluate the door and informed me that he would get me an estimate by the end of the week. I had to message him again requesting said estimate on Tuesday December 9th and he didn't respond to me until today, December 16th, to tell me that he won't be able to get the estimate to me until next year. Very displeased!"

Josh thoroughly examined the interior and exterior of the home and determined that the leak might be plumbing related. Josh could have very easily exploited our ignorance and suggested a solution purely beneficial to his company that may not have addressed the underlying cause of the problem. Instead, he demonstrated his integrity by realistically assessing the situation even if it would jeopardize the sale. This is commendable particularly in this era where cutthroat business practices are commonplace. I highly recommend Basement Gurus. They are fortunate to have an employee like Josh who exhibits concern for the customer at such a high level. "

"At first I rated them a 5 but they had me put in a review before the job was even completed. They used old tarp from previous jobs. There were debris all over my bedding and furniture from the old plastic tarp. If they needed new tarp I would supply them. Who knows what the previous projects had in their homes. I didn't notice till after they left. Yes, you definitely will need to vacuum. Which I expected, but not having to wash all bedding and vacuum furniture. The windows look good, but it's so much cleaning afterwards. So when they say you'll never notice they were there. Was not true at all. One of my bushes in the front were also damaged and trampled on."

"I am still waiting for the return of my deposit as it has been a week since I put this review on hold after putting in the notice that day 24 June of cancellation by email and next day mail. As I have said before I am a disabled Vet, Senior citizen with health problems. I have copies of the emails that I sent on the days of 06/24/2023 and by next day Mail on the 27th notarized copies of the cancellation. Tried calling but went to voice mail. No work has been done so a rating cannot be done on the work, only the price. This job was way overpriced and never got the chance to compare. The salesman was a good person but I have my family doing it for thousands less."
