"It was very easy to work with Joe to finalize a quote and get the job scheduled. Once onsite, Carlos and his colleague knew exactly what to do and how to run the new electric circuit across the house from the electrical panel to the garage. The installed the EV charger we had purchased separately exactly how we wanted it. Everything worked perfectly. They even went the extra mile to come back and patch the garage drywall where they had made a few holes to run the cable even though it was not included in the job initially. Overall very happy with both the price we paid and the quality of the work. Will hire again for any electrical work we'll need."

"My reason for wanting to volunteer a review is due to Kolb Electric and how they responded to my request.....wanting and needing my porch to have light....I purchased an Outdoor Ceiling Fan.....w/light. I needed it installed by 10/31/14 and I just purchased the Ceiling Fan on Monday 27th......so I used Angie's to request a couple of companies to see who could get the job done by Friday. 
Immediately I received a response back from Kolb Electronic instructing me to call so I can set up the time for Friday! 
It get(s) better.....after calling to set up an appointment at a rate of $195 for the 1/2 hour and $45 every 1/2 hour after that.....
I received another call from a project manager who explained by me being an Angie's List member and the price I was quoted is wrong....and the new rate would be $85 for an hour. Too good to be true right......but Friday came and there was Kirk at my door promptly at 8:45am.....ready to work. Totally professional and efficient....explained everything to me about the type of Ceiling Fan
I had....and the functions of it. 
Bottom line....incredible customer service and but also discovering the Real Benefits of being an Angie's Member just took it to another level.....this was my first year test with Angie's List....and honestly I was planning on cancelling my membership after my year was up....but with this recent situation with Kolb Electric....no cancellation here.

"On June 10, I had a company to install security equipment in my home. In doing so, the installer drilled through a wire and I did not have electricity in several outlets due to the damage. Since the company did not have an electrician on staff and was unable to refer me to anyone, I turned to Angie’s List for help in finding someone to correct the problem. I called Hands on Electric on June 11 and spoke to the owner, Kevin Williams. I explained my problem to Mr. Williams and he gave me a window of time in which he would be able to come out. Not only was he able to come out the same day that I called, but Mr. Williams was able to come much earlier than expected. Once he arrived he was able to trouble shoot and diagnose the problem. Mr. Williams was very, very friendly, professional and honest. He was able to answer my husband’s questions and explained what he was doing as he made the repairs. My husband was very happy about that and we were both impressed by the years of experience Mr. Williams had for his age. "Lou showed up on time for the quote and won us over. We scheduled him to do the actual work and he was not the best at keeping appointments or notifying us if he could not make it. The work finally got done about two weeks after the original appointment. He was scheduled to return for some finishing details and final electrical inspection. Again several reschedules (he had not even been paid yet which really made me wonder. I am sure he was not going to work for free). Had to leave messages that normally went un-returned. He did finally return for the last details but still no final inspection (we did pay him on this visit). Began having an issue with one breaker. Scheduled him to check it. No show. Left messages, no return calls. So here we are a couple months after beginning this project, mostly happy with the work that was done but not happy about scheduling issues, lack of follow up and still no final inspection."
