"Beautifully. We choose them in 2014 because they were available after a major storm. In 2014, they repaired major damage to several trees and gave us excellent advice about trees on our property. These people are arborists, not merely tree cutters. In 2016, they moved a 10-ft section of decorative block wall away from a large tree. The results were stunning: you would think that the wall had originally been laid in its current location.. In neither case did we get other bids, but I suspect this firm is a bit pricier than many others. Still, I would ask them for a proposal, for you will get a free education that is worth your time."

"Only service done well was flower bed edging...I had to show the worker how to plant a shrub and I had to provide the supplemental soil, luckily, before he got the shrub in the ground. Unfortunately, crew does not clean up well and leaves unused soil. As far at the tree removal, that went ok until I noticed they were going to leave the stump, after I explicitly asked that it be removed, too. Job was then completed, but crew did not remove wood chips and pieces of stump, which I had to do before lawn could be cut. Language was a big problem and one could only be understood by the boss - very irritating. Very professional at the outset, but the quality of the work precludes any followup."

We contacted them for an estimate for cleaning up our front yard. It was a very easy process to get the estimate and we then scheduled the work. "We contracted with Ms. Lily and the MA Landscaping team to redo our back patio on Capitol Hill in DC. The original patio had a dilapidated fence, an uneven brick floor, and overgrown shed. The moment that Ms. Lily stepped into the space, she had a vision for safeguarding the historic nature of the patio while integrating a modern look. She was receptive to our ideas and offered her own, which allowed us to come to a great combined vision. She didn't try to oversell us or pressure us into taking dramatic, expensive changes that weren't important to us. Throughout the project, Ms. Lily was hands-on, responsive, and receptive. The work was completed in 2 weeks. Her workers were friendly and when unexpected developments arose, they quickly sought our input as well as hers. "I am so pleased with the work performed by Gordon. We contacted him for an estimate on removing a few trees and trim some others in our yard. He contacted us and personally came over to give us an estimate. He knows his trees. He has done this work for 30 years and it's a family business which we love working with small family businesses. We had an ill apple tree - it was not maintained prior to us purchasing the home 8 years ago. We tried to prune it, figure out what ailed it. A number of arborists (other estimate providers) agreed that it was beyond hope and to remove it. We also removed a smaller apple tree (for pollination). We have mimosas which are the weed of trees. I love them for their blooms (they attract butterflies, bees and hummingbirds), but they are so intrusive. Gordon pointed out that one of the mimosas was possible causing an issue with our home due to their roots. We had him remove 2 mimosas and trim a third one (I wanted to keep one for the blooms & bees). What really impressed me was one of the other trees we wanted removed turned out to be a honey locust which Gordon told us was healthy and we should keep it. We did. His price was very fair and reasonable - included the stump removal as well. He was able to come out the following week and complete the job. He told us he would call us sometime the beginning of the week (we were flexible). Gordon called me the day before and asked if the next day was a good day to do the project. Worked for me. He called me in the morning of our appointment to confirm and gave me an estimated time of arrival. He called before the ETA and said he would be delayed and updated his arrival time. They showed up and had the entire job completed in less than 3 hours! These guys were amazing to watch and constantly going. I was impressed. They completely cleaned up the debris - looked even better than it did before they arrived. I highly recommend Gordon! I was completely satisfied with his work, the communication, his knowledge and his professionalism."

"I've lived in this house since 2002 and always hated having the 9 pine trees on the side of the property so close to the house. Most of the trees were at least 60+ feet tall. Oliver & Oscar presented a VERY reasonable price quote for the complete tree removal to include hauling away all debris, grinding the stumps and hauling away the wood chips. Trust me when I say reasonable price quote, as I've obtained no less than 20 estimates over the years. They left only the chips to fill in the hole that was left from grinding. They presented their license and insurance upon request and reviews were easily found everywhere. They completed the work in just a little over a days time. We could not be happier with the work performed. The crew was very friendly and was happy to talk and answer any questions we had. If I ever need any tree work in the future, I will absolutely, without hesitation call O & O Tree Services again. THANK YOU!"
