"Thank You Mr. & Mrs. [Member Name Removed] for the nice review. It was a pleasure to work with you on your remodel."
"This is a very dishonest review and its unfortunate. The client performed illegal construction prior to us arriving, Did not pull permits for various things including installing of a bathroom, electrical panel, and bedroom in the basement. The client contacted DCRA and filed a complaint. Upon their review of the scenario, we were found to have done nothing wrong or illegal. The client tried to get us to rectify the illegal construction that took place prior to us becoming involved. Anyone who has dealt with DCRA knows that if a contractor does not pull permits and performs illegal work, the homeowner would never be responsible for this, it would fall on the licensed contractor. We were cleared because we were able to produce all permits, all approved inspections for the work we completed. The issue is the client does not have approval for the work that was done by others and tried to manipulate my company into resolving her issues of not removing Asbestos properly and not pulling proper permits on the work she completed. We actually came in after another contractor that did not perform proper code worthy work. Our work was quality performed and approved by all perinate jurisdictions. There are photos of the work and copies of all permits and approved inspections on file should anyone feel the need to confirm. Its unfortunate that during such a tough global pandemic that anyone will use this platform in this manner. I can only assume that the findings of DC Govt were made official, prompting this act by the owner. As this work took place over a year ago. In addition there is a letter in the clients file from the tenant that lived in the home during the construction, stating nothing but positive things about our company and workmen who worked in the home while she resided. Please read other reviews as a true indicator of how we truly aim to please and have so successfully for over 20 years. Winners of the Super Service Award for countless years with Angies List."

"Thank you! It was a pleasure to work with you."
"We always strive to provide quality work within the scope of the agreement. We were contracted to install hardwood flooring, install a shower in a half bath, stone tile a fireplace and drywall the walls only in a utility/laundry room. Pertaining to The laundry area and the photos attached, No plumbing or electrical was to be done. We drywalled most of the room and stopped on one wall as we asked the client what they wanted to do about the Verizon, cable box etc. as we explained the drywall crew was there to install drywall only. The client seemed to eliminate some of the old wires, however left a strip outlet and Verizon box attached to the wall. When the drywall crew returned the box was still attached and the cords were still attached. One of The remedies was to rewire a new plug with a new outlet which was presented as an option. In the end the client said no it was ok she would hire someone to take care of it. I’m a little surprised that the bulk of the work photos was not attached, leading one to only see an area in which the photos don’t tell the entire story. We have been in business for over 20 years and we will never walk away from a project without communicating and providing options to remedy situations. In this case our proposed remedy of providing additional services was declined. The bathroom, hardwood flooring, painting, trim work, tile work, new closet, and towel warmer, attached vanity and vessel sink all turned out beautiful which is referenced in the review as spectacular by the client."
