"People don’t plan to have their water pipe burst. Seeing as it was -10 degrees today it’s no surprise ours did, despite every effort to make sure the water in the pipes were moving. I was at a doctors appt and walked in to water bursting out of the kitchen ceiling in buckets! My mother was looking where to turn off the main water with no success. When I got to it, water had been fishing for over 30 minutes! Oh, did I mention this occurred around noon today, which happens to be a Friday? My insurance said to see if I could get a plumber here today to expose the burst, take a pic to prove it’s due to a frozen pipe, then fix it. Of course I went straight to Angie’s List and saw this company was the highest rated near me and had great reviews. I called and spoke to the owner, Robert, and explained our situation. He was excellent! Knowing mine wasn’t the only pipe that burst, during this weather, I had no idea what their availability was. In spite of many similar issues, he made sure his guys could come over this afternoon. He was concerned about me having to wait for a water mitigation crew to come out and said he could take care of that too. Unfortunately, we’d already booked one with our insurance, who are coming out tomorrow. The guys came and they were WONDERFUL!!!! They went right to work, cutting open the drywall surrounding the bursted pipe. Took pictures for me so I could send it to my insurance company and fixed it in no time. They were perfect gentlemen. It didn’t take long to see how kind, down to earth, professional and mindful of my concerns. Ya know how uncomfortable it can be not knowing who is coming in your home. I felt so comfortable with them. Wound up joking around with them as though I’d known them for years. The two guys who came were Ivan Perez and E’Nedino Diaz. Not only did they fix the reason for which they came, they even fixed a few issues we had in our upstairs bathroom. They did so professionally and efficiently. I would have no hesitation recommending them to others. To me they were angels with their wings and halo’s hidden. ?"

"John the owner was very professional. He explained all aspects of the waterproofing work that was to be done. Any questions we had, he answered so that we understood what was to be done. He was respectful and pleasant during the entire process. When we left messages needing to speak to John, he was prompt in returning our calls or texts. John's crew was also professional and resp0ectful. They were thorough in performing the waterproofing job as John had explained it. The work was completed within the timeframe. The crew did a great job on the waterproofing as well as cleaning up the areas. We are very pleased with the completed. There has been an extremely heavy rain for an extended period of time since the work was completed. I can honestly say the water problem is no longer an issue--basement is totally dry. "Excellent job all around. The work was done in late March, 2019, but I waited to post this review until after a heavy rainstorm. The storm of July 8, 2019 (>4"/hr) would normally have caused water to seep up through the concrete floor. After the storm, there was not even a drop. The sump was dry. The job was messy: jackhammers and lots of dust. They left it clean. One cannot even see where they cut the lawn to get the pipe to the curb. My only critique is that the new concrete poured to replace the broken floor should have been completely leveled. From initial estimate to installation, excellent work."

"$9,500 I was quoted for my concrete driveway and porch to be removed and a new concrete driveway and pad poured. I needed a culvert installed under the foot of my driveway for rain water drainage, it was agreed that a 4" pipe would work. When the crew came out to do the work, the demolition part went very smoothly but when it came to the drain I was told I needed an 8" pipe. The trench was dug for it including digging an 8" deep by 1 foot around hole in my nabors parking pad. Than I was told the grading was wrong. I told him water wasn't draining because the trench he dug for the 8" pipe he suggested was below the rest of the drain lines and the water will not flow untill it was leveled back out. He argued with me about it for about 3 hours wile the concrete was starting to be poured. After his own workers and I told him the 8" pipe would not work, we went back to the originally quoted 4" pipe and everything drained fine. After the concrete was completed the work looked great."

He explained the technical procedure for installation. He answered all my questions about the safety of the product and provided a safety data sheet and references. He was a great guy who went beyond the call of duty to make sure all my questions were answered. Chris was knowledgeable, pleasant and enthusiastic. The installation foreman was also very experienced and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions on arrival and used tarps to cover all the flooring. There was no mess in my house and the install was not invasive or infringing on daily activities. There was no residual odor or unpleasantness after completion. My house and the crawl space were neat and tidy after the installation. Most important, the smell of mold was finally gone from the room above the large crawl space. I highly recommend NV Waterproofing and will use them again for waterproofing in my home. Photos can be provided by Chris of my crawl space before and after as well as other projects so I have not provided pictures with this recommendation."

"We have been working with Affordable for a couple of years now. To put it lightly, we have the basement from hell. When they arrived, we had some water in the basement and they quoted us based on their normal pricing. Once the concrete came up, we couldn't believe what we were dealing with. It is a constant flow of water that required two sump pits and an insane amount of work to install our drainage system. Every time they tried to dig a pit it would backfill with sand and water- they had to dig this up painstakingly- foot by foot. We thought for sure we were in for additional costs, but they stuck by the original estimate. Since then, any time we have had an issue or a question, they are quick to answer. Poor Kelly and Bobby probably recognize our number on the caller ID but whenever we make a call or send an email, we always get a response- usually with a visit on the same day. We highly recommend this company for their honesty, customer service, and quality work."
