525 Bay State Pump called me in response to an online service request. During the call, the Bay State Pump representative diagnosed the problem - a simple switch reset. Didn't cost me a penny, and my pump was working again. Next time I have a problem that needs service, they will get my business.

"I was told that the fee to simply come into my house to assess my furnace (that was not working) would be $260 on a Wednesday afternoon... and I was told this fee would not be absorbed into the work if I chose to have it done. If this company charges such an exorbitant assessment fee, I could only believe they would inflate other fees as well. I hired another local company for half that fee to assess then repair my furnace. Shame on Heritage Home Service."
