"Called Paul to consult on a quick charger for an electric vehicle as well as to replace several outdoor outlets at my home. He went above and beyond to plot out the best and cheapest path from our electrical panel to the driveway in our renovated and added onto â 50â s ranch. The work he did I was quick and quality. We have plans to have him back for more in the spring. Highly recommend!"

Customers say: True professional

"Scott is excellent to work with in all aspects of electrical. I am a general contractor and Moses Electric has done all my electrical for the past 12yrs. I look to no one else. From the non working outlet or switch, to service upgrades, underground work, data, fire alarm panels, low voltage, new construction, remodeling, troubleshooting, all the way to 3 phase industrial and commercial work. Scott has been along side me for all aspects of the electrical work and never skipped a beat. I have full confidence to refer Moses Electric to my own clients, friends and family. Knowing when I pass his name along it will not come back to me with a negative effect. Always happy clients every time, in addition to being clean in all aspects of presentation and workmanship. I am not biased because I am in the trades. We rely on referrals and relationships to provide our living so there is no benefit to saying what isn't true. I highly recommend Scott and Moses Electric for any of your electrical needs. He makes the process easy and seamless."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Completing electrical projects in Danvers brings immediate benefits like improved safety, reliable power for modern devices, and compliance with local codes. Over time, these upgrades can increase your home’s value, boost energy efficiency, and minimize future repair needs. Enhanced electrical systems also make your property more attractive to buyers, which is especially valuable in Danvers’ active real estate market.

Helpful?

If your Danvers home is over 40 years old, has frequent electrical issues, or uses 100-amp service or less, it’s time to consider electrical projects. Schedule upgrades before major renovations, appliance installations, or listing your home for sale. Keep in mind that permits in Danvers may take several weeks, and local electricians are busiest from April through October, so plan ahead for timely completion.

Helpful?

In Danvers, address electrical projects right away if you notice warning signs like burning odors, frequent breaker trips, or visible storm damage. Projects involving code violations or outdated wiring should also be prioritized. Non-urgent upgrades, such as new lighting or smart controls, can be scheduled for later. Planning major electrical work during spring or summer helps avoid weather delays and ensures better contractor availability.

Helpful?

In Danvers, homes with knob-and-tube wiring, plaster walls, or stone foundations often present challenges for electrical projects. Multi-level layouts, tight crawl spaces, or additions can make wiring more complex. If your property is near wetlands or has undergone previous renovations, electrical work may require extra planning. A local electrician familiar with Danvers’ housing styles can identify potential complications before starting your project.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Danvers are prioritizing electrical projects that enhance convenience and efficiency, such as installing smart home systems, EV charging stations, and whole-house surge protection. Upgrades like recessed LED lighting, outdoor outlets for patios and pools, and kitchen island outlets with USB charging are also in demand. These features help Danvers residents adapt to seasonal weather and modernize their homes for today’s technology needs.
