Before installing a mini-split, the sales person told me that I'd need to cut down an interior shelf to a specific height. I paid a handyman $400 to do exactly what the sales person instructed. Later on, N.E.T.R. came and did the installation; however, AFTER the installation, a technician told me that they hadn't accounted for the vent opening and closing and that the shelf would need to be further cut down. As you can imagine, this type of service is rather ridiculous. If they knew that the shelf would need further cutting, they should have NOT installed the unit. I have called N.E.T.R. six (6) times in three weeks, and no one has called me back about this issue. After paying for the unit and for a handyman, it's ridiculous that I have AC that is compromised because no one with the company thought to properly measure the space so that the work by the handyman could be done once. At this point, I'd like for N.E.T.R. to take care of this for me.

Their work ethic and attention to detail sets them apart from other companies in this business. Daniel is an expert and went above and beyond to make sure everything was tidy and perfect! They’re really invested in customer satisfaction!

The technician was personable and arrived on time. He answered all of my questions. He even had the office call me the same day with regard to an inquiry about getting a new furnace.

We had such a great experience with NETR. Everyone we met on the day of install were very polite, wore booties and cleaned up their work area so we didn't even know they were in your house working. The quality is beyond our expectations and we are now loving our new system especially on the warm days during unpredictable New England weather. The units are easy to use and we are comfortable within minutes! The process was very easy starting with the customer service representatives we spoke to, Victoria's knowledge and Chip’s expertise, go above and beyond what we were expecting. Everyone was great to work with, Ivan, Isaac, Tim and Jeff, we're on site. They were busy but were available and knowledgeable when we asked a few questions. I would highly recommend NETR.

I bought my unit from NETR in 2018. It worked fine until we discovered it wasn't blowing any cold air. I made the big mistake of hiring someone a family friend recommended and they diagnosed it incorrectly and then basically disappeared on me. Anyway, it took a few weeks but they repaired it today and I was impressed with their courtesy and getting the job done very quickly and successfully. I felt like I was being dealt with honestly. Thanks, Jared and Jack. I should mention I paid about $300 for the refrigerant today. I don't know what the final cost will be but probably a bit over $1000.

Sales Jimmy was GREAT a two day job took 7 visits. Install no so, drilled a hole in my flashing and mahogany deck flooring Repair subcon comes with flashing that doesn't color match Repair subcon comes again, JASON at NETR complains about having to spend $300 for flashing, not I'm so sorry about your $25,000 deck. Work get done, flooring that I provide and flashing still don't really match. two plastic tube pieces we broken, call JASON again, months go by. Get a txt saying someone was coming take time from work tech is a no show, more time goes by. 6th visit, more time from work, tech fixes the plastic, I'm not able to stay till completion and not able to hand over a check. JASON instructs tech to disable the system. 10 days later I pay $13k+ balance in full It's finally hot enough to use the AC, it wont work. 7th visit, more time from work, tech admits he was instructed to pull the circuit breaker... W**? 7th

The technicians Gregg and Caleb did a great job. They were courtesy, knowledgeable, hard working and arrived on time. They explained every step of the process to me. I will use N.E.T.R Inc. in the future.

10/22/22 Had to give a star in order to rate them. The experience was disastrous at best. Alex Patalano was sent out on the service call. He broke the boiler beyond repair. He didn’t realize the plastic casing he was attempting to remove was screwed to the unit. Rather than unscrewing the cover he attempted to pry it off and broke the casing into several pieces as he continued prying. He was using such force that he pried the casing and its components from the boiler unit so that they were literally hanging by one piece. At that point he called his boss, Peter, and told him that the system was so old that it fell apart as soon as he touched it (my neighbor happened to overhear this part of his conversation). Photos of the destruction are attached to this review. Clearly this didn’t fall apart in his hands, he destroyed it. I have had two other companies out to assess the damage and both were speechless when they removed the cover from the unit and saw what had been done by NETR. They both said that the damage was either malicious destruction or complete incompetence. Personally I prefer to think that it was the latter. Chris called me back. He couldn’t have been more rude to me if he tried. I began to explain the issue and he cut me off in mid-sentence. Chris said “Well, we didn’t charge you for the service call did we?” Of course not! Your technician literally damaged the system irreparably. Did you think NETR should charge me for that Chris? I started to explain I would like to file a claim and….you guessed it….Chris again cut me off with questions/statements like “How old is the system?” “It fell apart in his hands what do you want or think you’re going to get from us?” “We’re not gonna buy you a new system ya know”. Not his exact words, but fairly close to what he was ranting (and I do mean ranting; every time he cut me off he would babble on with nonstop rants). I had to keep asking him to allow me to finish a sentence and, yes, again while asking him to allow me to speak, surprise, surprise, he cut me off to say “well I get to talk too don’t I?” If Chris is in their customer service area he really needs to find a new job as talking to an unhappy customer is not within his skillset. Unless, of course, the goal is to make the customer even more upset than they were prior to talking to him. He’s got that nailed. Astonishingly the call ended with Chris saying something along the lines of “I have insurance for this, I don’t need to deal with customers.” Well said Chris. Well said. You really SHOULDN'T be dealing with customers. I look forward to talking with your insurance agent. Hopefully he/she is better mannered. Great. I was happy with the work completed and the price.

My Central AC unit went out; the box outside smelled like something had fried. I called NETR, and they said they would send a technican over in a week. The technician came on time and promptly inspected the unit. He reported that the capacitor had blown, and told me that he had a spare back in his van. The labor was covered by the diagnostic site visit fee, it was just the parts cost. I told him to proceed and he replaced it. My AC was back up and running within the hour.

The whole process went very well... from the initial consultation until the installation. Installing the system only took one day and it works great. After a bit of research, the price is probably a bit on the high side but I'd rather do that and get the job done right. Recommended.

Salesman was more than helpful, installers came on time, did the work, cleaned up after themselves and took the time to demonstrate the system. it was a positive experience from start to finish, Now I can enjoy the cool air!

Having spent 35 years in the construction industry, I can say without reservation that this is an extremely well run company. From start to finish, the experience with N.E.T.R. has been nothing but outstanding. The first person I spoke with in the office to schedule an estimate was very helpful and friendly. The gentleman who came to our home, Chip, was professional and personable and explained everything is great detail. The technicians who came to install the unit we purchased were professional, efficient and extremely conscious of our home and the garden they had to navigate to install the unit. The follow-up with the people in the office for the necessary paperwork for rebates etc could not have been better; Theresa and Chip were extremely helpful assisting us in navigating the process. Through the entire process, everyone we had contact with was very respectful of our needs and concerns. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Two men, Jerry and Tommy, arrived on the morning of May 19, 2017 to install the system. Tommy dug a hole on one side of the house, poured a concrete foundation in said hole, and also set up metal tubing, which created a stand on which the condenser sits to protect it from runoff. Meanwhile, Jerry was inside, drilling holes through my bedroom and dining room interior and then exterior walls for the refrigerant pipes which run from the condenser to the air handlers. He mounted each air handler high up on the wall. There was also electrical work performed to connect the units to the main panel in the basement. The whole job took several hours. Both men worked quickly and efficiently. At the close of it, Jerry presented me with my remotes and instructions, and showed me the basics. I used the system for the first time just a couple of nights after installation. The first night (it was the start of a heat wave) the air from the system was cool-ish - tolerable, but not quite as comfortable as I'd hoped - but I was still uncertain about the controls so I didn't tab down the temperature. The second night I did tab down the temperature, and that's when I found out that, though the fans and vanes in both air handlers worked, the cooling mechanisms did not. Considering the amount of money I'd just spent i was more than a little upset. Visions of law suits danced in my overheated head that night. I called the next morning. Jerry came out that day and diagnosed the problem (something to do with the solenoids, or maybe it was the thermistors). In any case, he did fix it, and this time, it worked as designed, and has done so ever since. I should add that NETR offers a service contract. Despite the added expense - for me, 234.99 a year for 3 years (the annual rate is fixed for that period, plus I get a 5% discount) - it makes total sense to have this complex system undergo periodic maintenance. I will pay the total at the time of the first inspection, in 2018.

Everyone was responsive, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. From the first sales rep to the helpful customer service on the phone to the installers, everyone was top rated. We looked at a plumbing company to do this work, and they were nothing close to the quality we found at NETR. We might even consider installing a second unit upstairs.

We recently had NETR install a ductless system in our single family home, and the entire experience working with NETR was consistently impressive. At every stage of the process the folks at NETR were super responsive and helpful, and their professional approach resulted in a zero surprise and zero problem experience. After initially reaching out to NETR to inquire about their services they setup a consultation visit. Russell Dodd arrived to review our property, listen to our needs and concerns, and recommend a solution. Russell is a friendly guy with many years of experience with ductless installations and had all sorts of clever suggestions on how to make this installation work best in our home. It's worth noting we also had 2 other top rated competitor firms visit to conduct property reviews, and the people that showed up were significantly less experienced than Russell and clearly did not have the product knowledge or range of ideas that Russell shared during his visit. Within days of Russell's visit we had an installation quote/estimate in hand and after sorting out a few details with NETR we scheduled an installation date. The contract covered all the items we had discussed with Russell and was very straightforward. The NETR price was competitive and in the same ballpark as the other companies – but with far superior follow-up and consultant services. There were no surprises or unclear items listed on the NETR quotes, while the quotes we received from the other companies had some areas where costs were not entirely clear. On the day of the installation Jerry Odom arrived and was the technician assigned to lead our project. Jerry was super friendly and carefully took the time explaining his installation process, listened to and answered any of our questions, and immediately went to work. Over the course of the 2 full day installation Jerry quietly and skillfully pulled everything together and made sure the units were placed exactly where we had requested. He did an exceptional job hiding piping and basically making sure that the new units throughout the house were installed in a very clean looking manner. Jerry was joined by two colleagues at various points during the installation and all were equally competent and skilled professionals. From initial outreach to the final day of the installation we interacted with at least 5 different people from NETR. The staff working back in the office were also very professional and helpful at all times. We interacted with Eleni and even one of the owners at one point when calling to confirm installation dates. This is obviously a company that values taking great care of the customer and sets an expectation that their staff are all honest, helpful, responsive and fair in all interactions. NETR deserves all the superlatives that are used to describe their people, processes, and services. This is a business that clearly makes it a priority to take care of the customer and deliver top quality work. We are very happy that we chose NETR over other vendors and would recommend them to anyone looking to install a ductless system.

I called Kris U. in a panic because an unethical contractor had totally messed up our very expensive HVAC system, and the condensers had been sitting unconnected for 18 months! Called Sila, they had no idea what to do. Called Kris and he sent in Gregg H. to reconnect everything, drain the condensers and recharge them again. He did a great job and it turned out we did not have to buy new condensers -- hooray!

I highly recommend this company, since no one else was willing or had the inclination to tackle this.

From the point of the initial contact and estimate -- all went well. I felt the company was very responsive to my situation all along the way.
