"During extreme cold snap pipes burst and they were there within 12 hrs when others were quoting a week. First thing they did was install a shut off valve so we could use the rest of the house while they worked. Only problem was with one right angle joint in a hard to reach place. It took two extra trips to get it to stop leaking. We have used them in the past and will use them again."

"Great. We had a new sump pump installed a few weeks ago and the company who did it thought our exterior drain might be clogged, but they did not do this type of work. I called Plumbing, Heating Paramedics and was able to schedule a time a few days later. The service team member was friendly, professional, he wore a mask and booties. He was able to verify the drain was clear. Minor issues he did not get the cover on the drain in the lawn on all the way and he did leave a booties on the porch, but just small oversights."

"Steve and his crew removed old brick patio and installed a new paver patio which needed to match as closely as possible with the brick existing on the screened porch adjacent. The job was difficult in that they had to make sure the patio was angled away from the house and the porch for water drainage and also tie the new pavers into the same pattern as the old brick which were different sizes.
They did a great job with the installation and everyone was very professional.

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Plumbers use a variety of tools to help unclog the toughest of drain clogs, but the most common tools they use are drain snakes and augers. They try a plunger or drain snake to start, then move to heavy-duty augers, and finally try using a hydro jetter to blast away the clog with high-pressure water. Hiring a plumber to unclog a drain costs $125 to $300, largely depending on the extent and location of the clog and which of these methods is best for clearing it.

DIY is not recommended due to safety risks and specialized equipment requirements. Hire professionals for effective clearing.

It’s possible to snake minor drain clogs yourself, provided they sit within a foot or two of the drain itself, but it’s usually best to hire a professional plumber regardless. Even experienced DIYers have a high chance of accidentally pushing the clog further into the drain using a drain snake or another tool, so hiring a plumber is the ideal course of action. A professional plumber can use camera equipment to locate and identify the clog, and remove the entire blockage to fix your issue permanently.

Once you’ve poured the baking soda and vinegar into a drain, you should wait about 10 minutes for the mixture to break down the clog. If you try the baking soda and vinegar method and it doesn't work, you can do it again or try the baking soda and salt trick.

Chemical drain cleaners can work to clear clogs in pipes, but their use should be approached with caution. These harsh chemicals can damage pipes over time, and they can also harm the environment. Use them sparingly and consider alternative methods such as using a plunger or a drain snake. If you have concerns about a persistent clog, it's best to consult a professional who can safely and effectively address the issue without causing further damage to your plumbing system.
