"After the big spring rains, water began seeping into my basement at several locations. I could see tree roots encroaching on the sump pump and assumed that drain tile was clogged resulting in water pressure strong enough to seep through the joint between the foundation wall and the floor. Tim explained that tree roots should be killed off with copper sulfate and that seepage was likely the result of cracks in the foundation wall that are covered up by the drywall. He said a single leak can appear in multiple locations as it travels along the 2x4's anchored to the floor. We talked about how I could go about finding cracks. He showed me the machine he would use if I decided to have him clear out the drains and warned that the silt and debris may tear up my sump pump. "I agreed with their assessment and ordered a new Bradford White 75 gallon water heater. This is a power vent type heater with PVC exhaust vented to the outside. Two plumbers (and a part-time helper for moving the old and new heavy tanks) installed it the next day and did an excellent job. The plumbing is all "plumb" and properly done."

"We were extremely please with Chris. We approached the project with baby steps. After an initial jet & camera of our current drain & floor tile we learned we had a blockage (which is why in heavy rains we were getting water & mud coming up). We then hired him to open a section of concrete to expose the drain tile and fix. This lead to the exposing a serious problem and we went further and had Chris replace the drain tile, add a new sump pump & tie into existing to create a "back up". Although it ended up costing us about $9,000 we are at complete ease knowing our basement is dry now! We will only be calling Aqua Doctor for any of our plumbing issues in the future."
