"This is the second time we have used this company and I am again a happy customer. The owner is a wonderful man who works hard to give you a fair price. We decided to put the zoning in to help control the temperature better in our two story house, all while replacing the 22 year old furnace. All the work was on time, done in the same day, and works wonderfully. The staff is very friendly, and tried to stay tidy while working.
This is the only company I would use for heating and air.

"They came early in the morning for a new HVAC install. Everything went well. They were neat and clean. The price was well below a comparable system from another company. They provided several options to replace out ageing HVAC system"

"The Besco team (sales, service, customer service) was a breath of fresh air for us. We purchased an older home and have had a series of mechanical issues (AC / Furnace) and recently had to replace our hot water heaters. The sales team was very helpful in outlining our various options in a low-pressure approach. The install team was exceptional in that they guys were willing to modify their placement of the unit so that we could use the (now) unused space for other (read: storage) purposes. This took add’l time and also required them to do a little additional work to make it work best for us. THEY DID THIS WILLINGLY BECAUSE IT MADE SENSE FOR US!! If you require anything HVAC / mechanical work for your home, please do not hesitate to engage Besco - you will not be sorry!"

"JML did a great job replacing a cracked portion of a condensate line in my attic. The cracked PVC was up in the attic which is in a tight spot. Derek showed up the next day after I called and went up into the attic found the crack and replaced the pipe in a hour. There was only professionalism from him despite having to be in a hot tight attic digging through insulation for a hour replacing this condensate line. I would definitely hire this company again for any HVAC / Water Heater needs."

"Anthony is a skilled, experienced HVAC technician. He started this business from scratch and has worked hard to build it and grow it in a very short time. His success speaks to the quality of the work he does and the service he provides."

"Francisco of United Heating and Air Conditioning is the greatest, and I will hire him again happily and hope to have him service my system yearly going forward. He came today as promised and found that my thermostat only needed batteries, but my system was otherwise fine. He is very good and extremely honest and informative."

"My utility closet was a convoluted mess before the HVAC replacement and by the time these guys were done - it looks like SpaceX came in and cleaned things up. They even did some 'extras' for me included; install W/D replacement vent tubbing, drained the water heater, re-directing a variety of piping - the completed job is, to be it plainly, beautiful"

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

The time it takes for an air conditioner to dry fully after cleaning depends on the unit's size and humidity levels. Most units will dry within two to four hours after cleaning, but check the manufacturer's recommendations for drying times. Make sure to leave the unit off until it's completely dry.

Indications of an HVAC problem include inconsistent heating or cooling throughout your home, unpredictable temperature changes, or inadequate air flow from vents. Abnormal sounds such as grinding, banging, or hissing, and unpleasant smells like mustiness or burning are also potential warning signs. A rise in energy costs without an increase in usage may also imply decreased efficiency. An HVAC system that frequently cycles on and off or cannot maintain a stable temperature is malfunctioning.

Both evaporator coils and condenser coils are recyclable and contain valuable, sellable metals such as copper and aluminum. Not only is it more earth-friendly to take them to a local metal recycling facility, but you can also trade them in for cash. Also, once the coils are removed from the system, they won’t have any traces of refrigerant, so you won’t have to arrange for recycling Freon or R-410A unless you’re disposing of the entire AC system.

Mold in your air conditioner isn't a good thing, as it can be harmful to your health. If the mold travels through the ductwork or is blown out of the A/C, you and your family can inhale mold spores and develop respiratory illnesses and other problems. Preventing mold from growing in the air conditioner will help protect your health.

No, for two very important reasons. First, it’s illegal to release refrigerant into the air or ground since it can be toxic and cause environmental damage. Technicians typically pump old or extra refrigerant into separate tanks for special disposal. Second, without professional equipment to read refrigerant pressure and levels, plus the AC’s suggested requirements, it’s impossible to know if you’ve removed the right amount of refrigerant. Stay away from a DIY solution here and seek an expert with the right tools.
