But besides that, the service tech arrived early after calling us in advance (much appreciated), found that the drain trap was plugged which prevented the unit from moving into the second stage of the heating process, and he cleared it. We're confident that the problem was fixed, and we're pleased with the work he had done. Jim was personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. But for the 20 minutes he was here, and the limited scope of the work that we could see that he had done, we feel that the charge for our drain line flush of $288 was pretty high. We didn't get quotes from other HVAC companies, and we trusted AWE based on Angie's List's reviews, but on reflection, it seems pricey to us. We will nevertheless call them for annual servicing because they are reliable."
