"They combined two electrical boxes into one and had to move an outlet to slow for a longer panel. The guy did the work while my disabled husband was home (he was unable to climb stairs and inspect the completed work). I came home after the guy left and had to move the old electrical panel that was sitting in front of my garage door. All the rest of the garbage was sitting in my garage. I was not happy, he told my husband he could not fit the trash in his car. When I looked at the completed job I saw he had retired the outlet and had a cord across the front of the panel box so it couldn’t be opened unless I unplugged the cord. What?!! And he also left his own personal trash in the basement. I was very upset and called the rep that had originally come to the house and he sent the same guy out the next day to fix it. I asked him to please take the old panel box and other trash he left and he said he didn’t have room in his car to take it. I was not happy with this company and would not recommend."

"I called Jakubek earlier in the year to get a quote for a kitchen remodel. I had a few requests for the remodel: take down a wall, get more counter and cabinet space and install a dishwasher (finally after 12 years in my house without one!). Through the whole process, the Jakubek team was extremely communicative and helpful in the planning process. They listed to what I wanted and helped me achieve it. Every time I had a question, it was answered quickly and honestly. Although I picked all the finishes and colors myself, Dawid was always helpful in giving me honest opinions on whether what I picked would work and be functional in my new kitchen. He soon became a trusted advisor and I felt very confident in his recommendations. He kept me informed of the work happening on the project every day. I really appreciated the communication! They worked very efficiently and professionally. Always punctual. At the end of every day, my home was left in an organized and clean manner and they completed all the work in logical order so that the progress flowed properly. All the details were completed just as they had promised and I was really impressed with their craft. It was really enjoyable to watch it all come to reality. So I started with a kitchen remodel and ended up with a beautifully renovated home. I mentioned before that I added to the scope of work in the beginning and then added again two more times! Each time I requested the additional work, Dawid would give me all the details on cost and how it would effect the completion date. So not only did I have the kitchen done (including all new wood cabinets and quartz counters, took down the wall and moved the footprint/layout of the kitchen), I had new hardwood floors installed on my first level and had existing hardwood floors and stairs refinished on my second floor. They painted my entire first floor and upstairs hallway, installed all new trim on my doors and windows on my first and second floor and replaced all my doors too!
