"I was called out for a renovation of property. I walked around with the homeowner and pointed out the birch was half dead and evergreen next to driveway was overgrown. We both agreed it should be cut down. The homeowner then asked if I did pavers. She said she got quotes to replace it, but they were too expensive. She suggested if I could just repair what she had. I told her I could remove some of the sunk bricks(which turned out to be 2/3 of her driveway) and put down gravel and put down polymeric sand. When removing the bricks I noticed the bricks were severely worn. I sent the homeowner pictures and told her I would do what I could because they were so worn. When driveway was done the homeowner called and said some of the sand didn't take. Went back and put sand on driveway again and noticed in the garage there were severe cracks in the cement. I questioned the homeowner and she replied. "There may be an underground spring". Which is why They are so worn. I have several pictures and videos of the work being done. As far as being loud and arguing that never happened. The racist comment she is saying is totally ridiculous. 90 percent of my crew is diverse. Please everyone review the before and after pictures. There are no sinking bricks when we were done as you can see in our pictures. If you go to google and put in our company name, the last 13 photos are of the homeowner's driveway. I do have video, but it doesn't allow them."
"Thank you for the review."
"Thank you for the opportunity to improve your existing landscaping."
"All work was completed as discussed and agreed upon. Deposit was paid on April 18, balance was paid on April 22 after work was liked and balance was paid in full. Also Angies list doesn't allow pictures to responses but I have a email from [Member Name Removed] stating "Pat was suppose to move the hydrangea tree in the back to the front since the hydrangea are poisonous to dogs and re-glue the brick by the steps. Both were installed by your company previously. He quoted $6,800 for everything including a butterfly bush. What is going on-the project was not handled not even close to the past project. There is a guarantee on your website. Why was the job handled so differently from the past job". So their statement about not asking for the tree to be moved is a bald face lie. which shows the character of the people we have tried numerous times to satisfy. The tree was moved to the front and butterfly bush planted as well as the brick glued. The project is complete. Both the BBB and the Attorney General have reviewed the complaint from this customer and after reviewing closed the case. Customer continues to badger our company and name on social media with no merit!"
"Really disappointed in this review. This is a neighbor of mine and I drive past her house almost ever day. My company put dirt, graded and seeded this lawn. We asked that she keep the soil very wet for the grass seed to germinate. We stopping by several times to tell the customer to water more. We even went out to her house and regraded and reseeded 3 times. I did see her out once hand watering and stopped and told her it need a lot of water that hand watering is not enough. It needed a sprinkler left on it to soak the seed so it would germinate. This has been a dry summer and if the customer does not follow water instructions properly how can I be responsible for grass that won't germinate for lack of water. I have went out 3 times and reseeded I'm sorry your feel the quality was bad but it is your responsibility to maintain the watering needed to grow grass."
"So unfortunate that you do a favor for a customer and they leave a review like this. Truth be told Midwest Landscaping did work for the [Member Name Removed]'s last year and then they called us back this year. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] was told that last years estimate was way under priced for all the work performed. Midwest would not be able to honor that quote this year. But because you were a return client I would let my crew do your job for the same price on a weekend and you could pay the guys cash. Midwest landscaping was not making any money from your job. The job took almost 9 hours. The [Member Name Removed]'s also had the men do work that was never estimated. So in short I guess I have learned a lesson."
"Sorry that you feel that way. While going over the yard with you I was under the impression that a new design was out of you price range that's why we agreed to just renovate your existing landscaping. We are experienced designers as well as renovators. Feel free to visit our website for amazing before and after designs and renovations. We work with our costumers for whatever is the most cost effective for them."
