MASTER FINISHES

Covid really derailed getting my house repainted. So it was beyond in need by the time I contacted Master Finishes. After a very thorough inspection to see what all the problems were, an estimate was given, which I accepted. They had to work around cold weather and rain, but the care and expertise amazed me. They scraped and power washed -- twice. Then there was patching, caulking, priming and, finally, painting. The house looks brand new and I couldn't be more pleased. I recommend them and their work ethic unreservedly.

Keith and his crew are exceptional. Instead of the typical one day power wash + one day stain, they spent over a weeks worth carefully preparing the deck also went to the trouble of adding wire mesh to the bottom sections of the deck to ensure animals do not get in. He also completed the cleaning/staining of my 2nd story deck. His paint application is hand brushed so the oil/stain penetrates deep into the fibers. I have high hopes this will carry me over for several seasons. Also did a few interior paint patches where i installed new thermostats. He went through the collection of miss-labeled paint to find the correct can to repair. Looks great now. Super friendly guy who knows his stuff and his results show. He takes his time to make sure things are done correctly as well. Very easy to get a hold of and is ultra dependable.

Keith Soos, the owner of Master Finishes, was great. Upon removing the wallpaper he found that there was a condition underneath that required a great deal more work, including new drywall and removing and replacing the baseboards and ceiling molding. Also we added on a couple of ceiling areas. We expected it to be a 5 to 7 days job, it turned into almost a month. Keith committed to finishing, even coming some evenings and weekends while he was starting another job. He is very careful and the paint looks beautiful. He also gave us a great suggestion about glazing the painted fireplace bricks. His price is very fair for the quality.

He saw little things that needed to be repaired, he was online and polite, and contentious, and does good work. I have used him for decades.

Keith and his crew always do careful work. Keith made sure the color match was just right and they will take the time to do the job right. Really nice guy too, as is his crew. Have used him many times for exterior painting and deck and interior job too.

We've used Master Finishes for all our painting needs for many years. Keith and his crew are communicative, polite, and good. Keith always responds to requests and questions quickly. This time he went beyond the call when he noticed and removed some wasp nests and fixed a screen where birds were entering the attic. Highly recommended.

Keith Soos and his crew do quality work. Courteous too. He may cost slightly more than other painters, but you get what you pay for as they say. Quality work and reliability have caused me to hire him many times.

I had never seen professional interior house painters in action.  The prep that was put into getting ready to paint was painstaking and very detailed.  Walls were washed.  Glue removed throroughly. Doors  and trim were properly sanded and prepared. Everything was taped and protected.  Master Finishes is just that--my walls and trim have never looked better.  It really makes a huge difference to have it done right.
The painters were very detail oriented and very professional in demeanor and their work.  They worked quietly outside early in the morning on the shutters and knew just what to do with the wasp infestation we had behind a couple of them.  The shutters look great. Clean up was thorough and again really detailed.
Keith, the owner, really knows his stuff, and had some great suggestions for colors to put in other areas of the house to make it shine.  I am also going to have him do some tile work on the kitchen walls on the back splash behind the sink and the oven.
You will be very pleased with this contractor.

Keith Soos and his team arrived when they said they would each of the three days it took to finish the job.  They were meticulous in power washing and stripping our 27 year old deck in preparation for staining.  They are very knowledgeable and professional and a delight to work with.  Keith explained each step of the process as the project continued.  The result exceeded my expectations in every way.  I give Keith my highest recommendation and will not hesitate to call again for future painting needs.

Keith and his crew were always punctual. They were polite, easy to deal with, tried to be as unobtrusive as possible. If there were questions they asked first before assuming. Keith is great at creating faux finishes and even repaired an area of a previously done  faux finish that got marred. He is also very good at helping to pick out complimentary colors for the decor of each room. They are meticulous with details and nothing gets left undone. This is the second time we have used Master Finishes and would most definitely use them again and I would also highly recommend them to my family and friends.

We've used many painters over the past 30 years of homeownership and settled on Master Finishes as the ones we can always trust to do the job to our satisfaction. Keith is a pleasure to work with, from start to finish. He is very customer-focused and extremely professional. This time, as usual, Keith came out quickly to provide an estimate and helped us choose the colors that worked best in the various rooms. Then, because we were in the midst of renovating the kitchen and laundry room, he worked patiently with us to fit him into our ever-changing schedule. He was incredibly accommodating and completed the job in multiple stages as we asked.
My husband is a perfectionist and inspects any work done on the house carefully. Fortunately, Keith is as much of a perfectionist as my husband! Everything in the house was carefully protected before any work was done (which was a particular concern since our kitchen was brand new), and Keith and his assistant were meticulous about getting all the prep work done properly. We were extremely pleased with the finished job, which was completed on time. One of the things that I find particularly impressive in working with Keith is his can- do attitude. He wants to make sure his clients are happy and will do whatever it takes to ensure that happens.

Called Master Finishes for an estimate and received an immediate response. Keith came the next day and gave me an estimate and thoroughly explained the types of stain, process and timeframe when the fence could be completed. We decided to go with Keith after receiving two other estimates and Keiths was the most reasonable. After determining  a date Keith and his crew arrived at 7AM just as he had said and began working. Overall the job went well and was completed in a timely manner even though there were a few rainy days. Keith and his crew did an excellent job and our fence looks great. I would recommend Master Finishes to anyone who wants any painting/staining done. I will most certainly use them again.

This was a completely positive experience start to finish. Keith listened carefully to what I wanted done and was very prompt with an estimate. His price was very reasonable. His name is Keith Soos. I've used him twice. My house is a very difficult house to paint. The original painter painted over the cedar wood. It was done improperly before we ever lived here. I've had other painters who tried to fix it and Keith was the only painter that did it right. He is a perfectionist for prep work. He preps and takes way more time than any other painter I've seen. He has worked with his crew for years. He is always on the job when his crew is here. He is an A+++ for professionalism and he pays very good attention to detail.

Keith came over and was friendly, professional and on time. He helped me choose the right shades of color for all the rooms and they turned out wonderful! Every day they cleaned up and you didn't even know the painters were there. He is very detailed and really cares about the quality. I have recommended him to many friends since he's completed our job. I wish all contractors worked like Keith...he's so easy to work with.

The staff is incredibly friendly. The guy knows his stuff backwards and forwards. The owner is Keith Soos, he's a neat freak which I love. He really knows what he's talking about--he'll point out problems in advance and explain them to me. His service is so wonderful.

Keith Roos and crew did an incredibly professional job on my home. They started each day at 7 am, and spent roughly four days just getting my house ready to paint. They scraped the entire exterior, power washed, then re-scraped where needed. They also fixed a few bird-holes, replaced some rotting boards, caulked all the cracks, and made sure the house was in the best condition possible to take a new coat of paint. The entire crew was friendly and professional, and made sure I was informed of any issues or problems as soon as they occurred. They were respectful of my home and cleaned up everything at the end of each day. I've received many compliments from neighbors as to the look and quality work of the paint job, and I would not hesitate to recommend Master Finishes to anyone. I got three estimates from various companies before starting this job, and while Master Finishes quote was not the lowest, their attention to detail and the quality of their work makes them a true bargain.

I can't speak highly enough of Keith and his crew. He is professional from start to finish. He has incredibly high standards and his painting is perfect. He also has a great eye for color. I have more painting projects and I'll be calling Keith.

Keith and his crew did an outstanding job on painting the entire first floor of my home. I can't say enough on what a pleasure it was to work with Keith. He takes enormous pride in his work, and he is a true perfectionist. In addition to being an excellent painter,his prep work was outstanding, he was also exceptional at determining and picking out colors that would work with the decor of my home. I was working with an interior designer, and we couldn't find a paint color that would coordinate with the fabric that I selected. Keith saved the day by developing custom colors that turned out to be perfect, and look absolutely beautiful. I can honestly say he understands color as well as my designer does. She was really impressed with how knowledgeable and creative he was, and plans on referring him to her other clients. When the work was completed, she walked through my home and told me the work was exceptional. Keith also applied a grout colorant to my fireplace tile. I was redoing my fireplace, and the tile person that I hired incorrectly grouted the tile, removing all the color from the grout. Keith spent approximately eight hours meticulously applying the colorant onto the grout line and the result was excellent. I have spent the last year renovating my home and I have dealt with many contractors. Keith is by far one of the best and nicest contractors I have ever worked with. I highly recommend him.

The work was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The owner, Keith Soos, and crew were very helpful, professional and courteous. They were prompt, and punctual and cleaned up everyday. The clean-up after the job was done was exceptional - all pieces of furniture, curtains, etc were put in place and the rooms were cleaned to perfection. I appreciate the workmanship everyday - it is absolutely beautiful what they did. Guests have universally been impressed with the work. This could not have been a more positive experience. Keith Soos was quick to respond to my request for an estimate. He did a good job assessing the work that needed to be done, and made some good recommendations to improve the overall look of the final paint job. The biggest challenge was bringing back the overall look and appeal of my Oak front entrance doorway. It had become badly weathered over the years, and required days of stripping, bleaching, sanding, staining and sealing to complete. The results exceeded my expectations, and all my visitors have commented on the great look of the front door. In addition, they were very thorough in properly preparing my cedar siding and trim for stain and paint. Considering the age and condition of the cedar siding, the results were very good. I definitely got what I paid for and would call Master Finishes for my future painting projects.

We were absolutely thrilled with the results! Keith and his crew were a pleasure to work with; totally professional, on time, clean, helpful, and on-budget. Keith kept us fully informed of any and all issues. It was a pleasure to deal with someone who was such a professional; he even returned after the work was done to do touch-up work in the bathroom after the new fan installation left an area that needed to be painted.
