"I had a new garage door and opener installed, and I'm happy I chose to use this company. Just about everyone was friendly and helpful, both in the office and on-site. The installation was done well. The installer had some issues, but other team members made things right. Overall, it was a good experience. One thing to note: it took about 3 weeks from the time the door was ordered until it was ready, but installation was scheduled quickly after that. I wasn't in a hurry, so this wasn't an issue for me, but it might be for someone else."

"This is a difficult review to write. Some of the work do​n​e by Welter Home Services was good and the handyman they sent didn't waste any time going between jobs​ on my list​. ​ The main work that was done well was installation of 2 shower grab bars​ and fixing a kitchen cabinet garbage can door that eventually broke after over 20 years of constant use. ​ Unfortunately, some of the work was ​totally un​acceptable and they do not stand by their work, even when notified within 24 hours​ of the work being completed. If they can classify it as a "repair", it's buyer beware! If it breaks again or you see something unacceptable 1 min after they pull out of your driveway, they actually expect you to PAY THEM to fix their own poor work! The work that was not at all satisfactory was the installation of weather-stripping on 2 doors and fixing a broken screw on my desk's keyboard drawer. It took 3 attempts to get the drawer (hopefully) fixed, of which I had to pay for 2 of the attempts. My front door is admittedly not the best and they did make it close easier (not on my fix-it list). However, in the process, they left such a large gap between the door and the weather-stripping that I could see sunlight coming in between the door and the frame. The handyman actually tried to tell me that I was just seeing the weatherstipping, but I guarantee you that I can tell the difference between sunlight that leaves a shadow and some light-colored weatherstripping! I have since installed some foam weatherstipping to stop the massive air leaks before the weather turns and it becomes too cold for the foam to stick properly. I ​paid t​hem almost $220​, and then had to fix it myself​! Adding insult to injury, when I called to complain about the large gap they left around my front door, the owner Kevin Welter told me twice that "he hoped I would be reasonable"! As a woman of a certain age, that sexist comment translates as "Just be a good girl and stay quiet!" Would he DARE make such a comment to one of his male customers? I will NEVER use them again - sexist or not - as I feel that anyone who does not have enough pride in their work to stand by it and fix something that is clearly unacceptable is just not trustworthy."

"Had a hard time finding a contractor that would/could replace my broken fence post. It is oversized and several places couldn't get the material. Professional Fence Repair took care of the job at a very fair price. Results were excellent."

"If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I was a return customer that needed a few fence posts replaced as they rotted out. The quote was very high but they had done a good job in the past. We asked them to check other posts as well to be sure and let us know which ones to replace. They proceeded to just replace all posts in the line while we were gone for 30 mins. At least 2 of the 3 posts were just fine and did not need to be replaced. They then charged over $800 for the additional three posts they added and refused to wait the 10 minutes until we arrived to take the invoice or deal with it. In addition they did not bother to check the remaining fence as we asked and failed to clean up. They left dirt and concrete everywhere. We then called the following Monday as this occurred on a Friday, asked them to come out to finish and dispute the bill. They did not come out as planned and then told us to make an appointment. That all their fees are fixed and each post starts at $350 for the first one and $275 for each one after. Never did they tell us this in the quote or prior to installing the posts. We are left with a mess to clean and paid exorbitant fees for terrible work. Stay away!"

"Diaz Renovations surpassed my expectations. Owner Rick was so wonderful to work with. I work from home often but he was so unintrusive, super neat, cleaned up every day he was her and a joy to have in my home. I can't wait for him to do additional projects for me in the future."

"It has taken me a long time to write a review because the experience with the owner of this company was very unpleasant. The owner spent most of a day at our house installing two new replacement interior slab doors. He damaged both doors during installation, and also put the doorknob to our bathroom door on backwards. The owner seemed very frustrated as he worked. Later, when I mentioned a burn mark that was sustained during installation, the owner became extremely angry to the point that I felt uncomfortable with him in my home. We didn't bother mentioning damage sustained to the other door, nor did we bother to mention or ask him to properly reinstall the doorknob on our bathroom door that he'd installed backwards. Note that this job was fully discussed before this owner accepted it. However, I think he may have regretted advertising a coupon discount. The owner appears to have anger management issues so, in light of the quality of his work and his behavior, I cannot recommend him."

"They agreed to install one product but gave us another. The contractors did not speak much English so my husband had to tell them what needed to be done. They tried to cover up a rotten board rather than replace it. He made them take out what they installled to replace he board."
