Southern ContractingJeff's team did a great job. He came out initially to get it started an introduce me to his team. Brandon, the job foreman, Blake and Junior were the core team, and they were joined by specialists over the 5 days of the project. Brandon and Blake did a great job of keeping me updated on progress and managing my wife's & my expectations. I worked at home each day, and they did not seem to mind me popping in unannounced to see what they were doing or to ask questions. Brandon & Blake were always respectful of my opinions and never argued. They would respond honestly to my questions, make recommendations, and always offered to have Jeff come back out and speak with me if needed (it was not needed). they never responded about anything I asked being in the scope of work of the project, which I appreciated. they cleaned up after themselves and I felt very comfortable with them having free access to our house. they only went to areas where they were working and rarely asked for anything. We got 4 different proposals and felt Jeff's was the most comprehensive and the best price. His company came recommended by the structural engineer we hired, and we were very pleased with the work and felt we got a fair price.- Martin B.

Desert Dry Concrete, LLCExcellent. Mike at Desert Dry Concrete responded to my inquiry faster any other foundation company. We connect 24 hours after I posted my project, and he came to take a look at my crawl space the same day! This is unheard of! We had a quote almost the same day and when we were ready to move forward, Mike and his team were done in about a day. He is knowledgeable and trustworthy. His quote was reasonable and the work is quality. We will def call him again if needed.- Pricilla P.

Crawlspaces and MoreOur house has some water damage issue in the first floor and basement. The company sent Landon to our house. He is very kind, smart and knowledgeable person. He inspected the house and honestly explained that he did not see any house foundation issues. The water leaking issues were caused by pipe broken. He said "If you house has any foundation issues, please contact us". We will definitely use them for any foundation related repair jobs in the future.- Yansha G.

American Crawlspace SolutionsThe company's field supervisor listened to my needs, made recommendations, worked out a plan, provided a quote and scheduled the work. All went very well.- Michael W.

Hercules House Movers IncOur current house needs foundation/flooring repairs. I reached out and was very clear on the phone that we needed an evaluation/estimate on the foundation specific work that needs to be done. He came by for a $300 consult on 1/28. He was punctual and stayed for 1.5 hours; looking at all facets of the job. I reiterated that I needed a formal write up on what needs to get done and how much that costs, so that we can get him plugged into the larger home renovation work-plan. He said he'd get me that. To be sure we were aligned on expectations I emailed him on 1/29 and formally reiterated in writing my need for an estimate on the foundation repair. Over the next few weeks, he made no progress. I emailed him on 2/3 to check on progress. I texted on 2/4. I finally reached him by phone on 2/9 & he said that he didn't recall me wanting an estimate but would “work on it”. My final attempt was emailing him on 2/14 to ask if he planned on giving me any report/estimate. I am unsure who pays $300 for an inspection/consult without any formal documentation to follow. How would you engage with them to do work? Nice guy but doesn't follow through.- MITCHELL K.

Georgia Waterproofing and Tree ServicesI was impressed from the time Jose visited my home, understood what needed to be done and prepared a complete estimate. This was a tricky and labor intense job. Few people wanted to take it on and I was very worried if we would ever find a way to get the work done the way it should be. The cost was fair and successfully completed, as scheduled. I am thankful I found them, called and worked with them. They exceeded our expectations! Thank you Jose and Georgia Waterproofing and Tree Service!- Linda P.

The work was performed on time and as estimated. The scope of the work was appropriate to the presenting problem (unlike the proposals received from the larger waterproofing companies) and the estimate was a fraction of the price proposed by other companies. The estimator, Lupe, was responsive, and excellent at describing the work to be done and at answering questions. The work was completed in a timely manner, and the area was left neat and clean.

BEWARE OF THIS PREDATORY BUSINESS. I am SHOCKED that this company has enough positive reviews on Angie's List for them to come up as recommended so I had to share my experience. Sundry came out to help me figure out why we had standing water under our house and quote me for a solution. Sundry quoted me $10k to replace the entire sump pump and drainage system. They also tried to convince me there was mold I had to take care of, using what I suspect were not actually pictures of our house (I noticed what looked like part of a timestamp not fully cropped out of the corners). Luckily my brother-in-law is a contractor down in Florida who wisely advised me to get multiple opinions and quotes, so I was prepared to heavily scrutinize what every prospective company did and said. The company I ended hiring fixed it all for literally 1% of the cost Sundry quoted me. If I hadn't had a healthy dose of skepticism, as a new homeowner (and someone who knows nothing about foundations), I might have believed Sundry and had $10k more debt to my name. CHECK THE GOOGLE REVIEWS. There are plenty of other stories from people who fell for the scam and paid thousands, only to discover the problem was never fixed in the first place.

Contractor advised he was busy and would take at least 4-weeks before they could come out and review the job. Six weeks came and went and no contact, visit, phone calls received. Called several time over a week period and received no returned calls. Finally a young lady called and I explained the situation with her. She advised she would check and cal me back which she did. Apparently the gentleman I spoke with originally did didn't want to talk with me and basically said they were do busy and didn't want to do the work. Not sure how you review your contractors but this I found this not very professional and might want to review having them on your list. Thanks

Recent Review:
We decided to go with Everdry because they are the only company that would guarantee both the floor and walls - and after the mold issue we experienced, we wanted to get the most comprehensive solution possible. But it's clear that this company is stretched way beyond its means. We had to wait four months for installation (don't believe them when they claim they will fit you in). The guys they had do the work were polite and nice, but also reckless and sloppy. One decided to install an air circulation machine in the middle of a wall in a room where I explicitly told them I did not want the machine installed. That meant that they unnecessarily cut out dry wall and insulation to the ceiling and put a hole in the foundation. Another guy slapped cement all over our front stoop (see pictures). I had to wait another three months for Everdry to even attempt to repair these things and then they managed to make them worse. Everdry apologized for the miscommunication, but I still have to wait ANOTHER MONTH before they can get to me on their schedule. I've spent so much time trying to manage this. They say all of the right things on the phone, but they don't seem to have the capacity to supervise their workers and ensure quality. For this kind of money, it's not worth the grief.

Recent Review:
I really wanted to have a good review for BDry. The original salesperson was very friendly and helpful, and the team who came out was very respectful and really worked hard. And for starters, the system was finally installed, and my basement is waterproofed. That being said, I will not be recommending them to others. A one day job turned into 3 drawn out weeks between scheduling BDry to come out a second and third time to finish the "one day" job and to repair mistakes and then also having to reschedule our very busy contractor multiple times to work around BDry's schedule. This resulted in several days without pay for my wife and several wasted personal days that I had to take off from teaching. All told, they did not even fix everything when they came out to do repairs as the onsite worker had told me they would. They had ripped up some of our epoxied basement floor with tape (accidentally), but then when I spoke with a representative about it, they essentially said that they didn't deal with small things like that and that it was my problem. Fortunately, we had just had the epoxy done the past year so we could still find it in store. Unfortunately, the stuff only comes in a $117 container. The biggest issues came with the original salesman giving us certain specifications that we had to have met with demo work before they could come and install the system. Those were communicated to our contractor: "Cut the studs one foot up from the wall". We made sure this happened. When they arrived, they said it had to be demo-ed even further and were going to charge me a fee for it, even though we had demo-ed the way they told us. That was sorted out, and we weren't charged the fee. However, they then proceeded to cut halfway up our walls, mutilating the studs and the drywall above it with the precision of elephants. This translated to a lot of extra labor and a bit more in material costs for our contractor. Our contractor then helped put together an estimate for how much more BDry directly cost us, and it amounted to $400. $400 was a good bit more for us to be paying right now, but I thought it would be no problem at all to get BDry to cover that for us, especially since we weren't even factoring in all of my wife's lost wages. They were resolute in not giving me any discount, insisting that I should be satisfied with them "Not charging me the $300 demo fee", which is irrelevant since it was their mistake that they had to demo more in the first place. Overall, while I am very relieved that the basement is finally finished, I am exhausted from this process dragging on and am very displeased with the company's lack of consideration for our time or the extra money they cost us. I will not be considering them in the future, and I will be warning as many others away from them as possible.
