Foundation Worx

This company is horrible. Do not give them your money. Do not let them touch your house. All those great 5-star reviews from several years ago were under the company’s previous owner. The current owner, Brian, doesn’t care if his company’s repair job is done correctly or fixes the issue they were paid to fix. We hired Foundation Worx to add support under a hallway in our home. The job was done incorrectly, creating a large bulge in our bedroom floor and causing substantial drywall damage. I emailed Brian immediately and received no response. After calling the company a couple times, they finally sent out a salesman who doubled down on the improper repair and claimed there was no need to make any adjustments or corrections. We hired a structural engineer who confirmed the job didn’t resolve our hallway issue and actually made it worse. We sent a Right To Repair letter certified mail to Brian, which he was supposed to respond to within 30 days. Brian did not respond. After waiting over seven weeks for a response that never came, I emailed Brian again and asked for a refund, as our house experienced significant further damage while we were jumping through these hoops trying to get a resolution from Foundation Worx. Brian finally responded but only offered to repair their project, 6+ months after they broke our house. This repair should have been offered to us immediately. As we could not trust Foundation Worx to repair our home properly or in a timely manner, we paid another company to do it. I requested a refund from Brian multiple times and this request was ignored. Save yourself the nightmare we went through and hire another company.

I can't say enough good things about Foundation Worx. I needed 4 helical piers installed under one side and the adjacent corner of my townhouse, and you wouldn't believe how many providers I interviewed. All came across as so unprofessional and uncaring until I had a representative from Foundation Worx come to my house. First, he was an actual engineer (with a degree!), which set him immediately apart from the others. He actually inspected the problem not just from the outside but came inside my house too and did a thorough walk through, used a laser level to assess the issue (nobody else even offered to do the same). He explained the problem in relatable terms and answered all my questions. He even walked around the block to figure out how to bring machinery to the house with the least damage to the surrounding shrubbery, grass etc. This got them my business on the spot. Very professional! The estimate was sent to me quickly, the document was clear and precise, and we agreed on the price. Their payment is done electronically, which makes it so much easier. No large amounts of cash have to be exchanged. The crew that came to do the job was super professional too and they actually were the local guys who spoke English (so rare nowadays). They were very careful with the landscaping, the driveway and were super clean. They constantly kept me informed of the progress and made me very comfortable. The job took two days instead of one as initially agreed, but in all fairness they had to drill twice deeper. When they were done, the property looked like nothing ever happened. They left everything super clean and even swept mine and neighbor's driveways. The masonry done on the outside bricks cracks was exceptional too. You can't tell that anything was done at all. They even matched the color of mortar to the original one. Also, the follow up from the company was amazing. Somebody called me every night when the work was being done to check if I was satisfied or had any questions. In conclusion these guys are not the cheapest but they are worth every penny. I'd recommend them to everybody I know.

I recommend this company as they were very professional and the workmanship was excellent. I would not hesitate to use them. I had leaks if it rained over 1”. I had other companies look at the problem and want to do the work inside the basement and not outside. Foundation Worx was the only company that said they do their work outside. Also with a warranty on the work, I now have no need to worry about basement leaks. Their pricing was very fair and honest.

We had a great experience with Foundation Worx. This was the second time we had called them out for water in the basement. The first time, Jonathan informed us it wasn't a foundation issue at all but our main water line leaking (which was true). His honesty about that situation led me to call them again a few years later. He came up with a solution that fit within our budget and will give us peace of mind that the next time a heavy rain comes through, our basement will finally stay dry.

This was a complicated project for an older home that had the foundation repaired 15 years earlier by a company that is no longer in business. Needless to say the prior work had flaws and FoundationWorx had to find a solution to a very complicated situation. It took longer than expected due to weather and the complications of the prior failed solution by the other firm. But I am pleased with the result and the knowledge of the team.

The team was very professional, friendly, and responsive. I'd certainly recommend them again to anyone in need of foundation assistance!

While it took a little longer than I anticipated to have our job evaluated, the project planner was very professional and explained what work was required, and even explained why some work I thought was needed was unnecessary. Four resistance piers were installed, and drainage lines were rerouted, necessitating cutting of our concrete driveway, with subsequent repair. The work crew was prompt, efficient, friendly, and cleared up after themselves very well. The price was certainly reasonable, and when it was discovered that some unexpected drainage line work needed to be done during the project, this was accomplished with no drama, and the additional cost was more than fair. I would definitely hire Foundation Worx again for any additional work.

They ended up having to go 17ft deep, to get the desired results, but they did the job quickly and cleaned up well, after repairing the concrete they had to cut.

Great. Company was very responsive and professional. In addition this was one of the few foundation repair companies that included brick mason service to repair the aesthetics of the exterior wall damage.

Work had to be complete prior to the closing date in order to sell the property. Response time was quick and all parties, Sellers and Buyers, were pleasantly pleased.

From estimate to completion, the job went great. One of the reasons we chose this company is because of how thorough they were in the estimating process. We were presented with several options and all of our questions were answered in great detail. By the time we made our final decision, we felt confident we'd chosen the best option. Three piers were installed and the voids under the slab filled in. All of the work was completed in one day.

Excellent. Removed old block piers that were improperly installed and replaced with new piers to support beam. Work was performed to building code requirements.

The work was excellent. The crew was professional and courteous. Our job was a small one for them and their minimum charge for any job is $1250. Kelly in the office is an effective gatekeeper and if you have a small repair she will do her best to dissuade you from scheduling with them. Before pics attached - sorry they are sidways.

Excellent communication and service from quote through performance of the service. There was an unforeseen (underground) issue to work around, which Foundation Worx assessed and provided various options within the quoted price. I HIGHLY recommend Foundation Worx!

Foundation Worx was very professional. Did exactly what they said, when they said they would do it. Very pleased with them.

The guy that came to my home to do the work was leaving the company. Communication was abhorrent. I was asked to stay home from work on at least 2 occasions and he never showed. He came unannounced when I wasn't home. during the process he dug down in several locations to apply a sealant to the outside. There was an area in which we had repeated moisture entering the house and had to ask him 3 times to be sure and dig down to that location to identify the cause of the leak. Once he finally did, he didn't seal it. More importantly, he didn't fill the hole again. He just tossed a hosta in it and left, meaning next time it rained of course, all the water would run down the hole right into the house. Later, someone from the company contacted me and said they would pay me up to $40 to write reviews. I said that I would be happy to, but there was this one outstanding issue of the hole. If they would be willing to come fill it up, I would give them glowing reviews. No one responded. Several weeks I forwarded the email to Jonathan who, after 2 emails finally responded, saying he'd look into it, but I never heard from him again. After spending $8K, it was a very disappointing experience.

Jonathan and a partner came out to give us an estimate. They were professional, honest and polite. I liked them because they did not try to sell us more than what we needed; they offered us several options but recommended us the most practical and affordable solution among the options they laid out. It made the decision making easier.

Excellent work performed! The expectation expressed by the company was realistic in regards to impact to the upstairs settling. The team was on time and finished within one day. All work areas were cleaned up post work and the crew spent additional time with me at the end reviewing the work performed to make sure I understood what was done to remedy my situation.

Foundation Worx was the most reasonable estimate in comparison to others. Clint was easy to work with and responded to calls. The work was done in a day. The crew was professional and pleasant. Highly recommend.
