"Joel and Will are electrician superstars in my humble opinion. They worked efficiently to install a light fixture in our entryway and to check out our electrical circuits. We're very pleased with the service they provided and they also showed themselves to be really nice people that we were happy to have in our home. Also, the lady who sets up appointments, Tracy I believe, is an absolute sweetheart who treats customers like they're the most important people in the world. Their service fees are more than reasonable. We won't use anyone else for electrical issues."

"Outstanding. I noticed the other day that my front porch light had dropped out of the recessed receptacle and was hanging by its wires. I quickly contacted several electricians from Angie's list and only heard back from two of them. Both were pleasant and helpful. One could not get to me for about 7-9 days. The other (Phaze Electric) had me on their schedule the next day. Jerome showed up early and quickly assessed what was needed. He obtained the necessary part from Lowe's and was back in a flash to remove the old housing and install the new one. I also used Phaze Electric a couple of years ago to hang ceiling fans on my back porch and they did an excellent job then, too. Phaze Electric will be the company I call in the future for all my electrical needs. I trust them to do a great job at a reasonable price."

Customers say: Quick response

"Other companies told me that this job would likely take 2 - 3 weeks because of permitting and other obstacles. Favored Electric took the initiative to get the ball rolling and was able to get the job permitted, completed, inspected and power restored in 1-1/2 days. The service was excellent and I recommend Favored Electric based on this job experience."

"Lightning hit breaker box at my 86 year old Mother's house. He replaced burned out parts, fixed an outlet in garage that had also blown and tried to get garage door opener to function(above & beyond why he was there). We have to get a garage door repair person for that. He was on time, pleasant and did a good job.  He came same day as called which was wonderful so Mom would not be in the dark for long. and  power to whole house was out. We had shut generator off by then to save the gas. Mom was a business woman all her life and appreciates promptness and professionalism. She strongly approved of this gentleman."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Watch for flickering lights, frequent breaker trips during heavy AC use, or GFCI outlets near pools that repeatedly reset in Deltona. Rust or corrosion on panels, warm outlets, or a burning odor are urgent warning signs, especially in humid conditions. Outdoor components with visible weather damage or landscape lighting failures can quickly escalate, so addressing these issues promptly helps prevent larger electrical repairs.

Helpful?

Deltona’s high humidity, summer heat, and frequent storms can accelerate corrosion and wear on electrical systems. Scheduling major electrical projects outside hurricane season, ideally from October to May, helps avoid weather disruptions. Frequent lightning strikes and salt air increase the need for surge protection and corrosion-resistant materials, making these upgrades essential for long-term reliability in Deltona homes.

Helpful?

In Deltona, outdoor electrical systems like pool wiring, landscape lighting, and exterior outlets often need attention due to humidity and storms. HVAC electrical connections work hard during extended cooling seasons, while panels in garages or attics are exposed to heat and moisture. Older homes may have aluminum wiring or outdated panels, and flood-prone areas require extra care for crawl space and outdoor receptacles.

Helpful?

Before starting electrical projects in Deltona, confirm all necessary permits are secured and inspections are scheduled. Plan work outside hurricane season to reduce weather-related delays. Check for HOA guidelines if you live in a community, and coordinate with local utilities for any service upgrades. If your property is in a flood-prone area, ensure electrical components are elevated to prevent water damage.

Helpful?

If you notice frequent power outages, flickering lights during storms, or outlets near pools showing discoloration in Deltona, it’s time to consider electrical projects. Homes from the 1980s-1990s often need panel upgrades, especially with increased AC use. Aluminum wiring, plans for a new pool, or persistent tripped breakers are all signs that prompt electrical work is needed for safety and efficiency.
