"First of all I never sounded annoyed on the phone. A service call is 100.00 for just about every electrician in the area. [Member Name Removed] the wife was not even in the room at the time I checked stuff so for her to say that I did not do anything but unplug the dryer is a lie. Yes I unplugged the dryer and the breaker stayed on but then I also took the dryer plug apart to check the connections in there. Which everything looked good then I also took the cover off the wiring on the back of the dryer and checked the connections there and everything was also fine. If that is not doing any work then I don't know what is. I also told them that I would change the breaker also while I was there but it did not seem to be the problem they said never mind. The person they should be mad at is the guy who fixed the dryer wrong that they had to call a electrician in the first place. They must feel like my time is worth nothing. Maybe I should have checked out something about them before I went and did a job for them to see if I was suppose to do it for free."
"Thank You for your review. Thank you for your business. Bill Johnston"
"Thank you for the review. thank you for your business."
"Yes Ma'am what you are saying is not true. We installed GFCI plugs for you and they were working fine then one tripped and you weren't able to get it to reset and I sent my guy's down there free of charge and showed you how to reset it. We did several jobs for you so if we were so unresponsive why would you call us back. I waited one time for 6 months to get a check because you had misplaced the invoice. I did not say bad things about you. Thank you"
"First of all Angie's list came up with that price. Second of all you bought the deal knowing what the price was. My guys came to do your job for which you were supposed to have all the fans and parts needed to complete the job. But then you ask them if they could get a longer down rod for your one fan. the other two fans were already installed. they told you they could go to home depot and see if they could get a longer down rod. They both went because there was nothing left to do until they could get the down rod. When they got to home depot they did not have any down rod in that color so that is why they came back with out one. You paid for 2 hours labor when you bought the deal and they had 3 hours by the time they got back and hung your fan with the down rod that you had. I don't see how you can feel that it not fair to pay for the extra time just because you and home depot didn't have what you needed to do the job. And to give us a poor grade like that was pretty sad sense we did everything we were ask and then some. And you don't even think it's fair to pay us for our extra time. Thank you very much"
Did not go well at all. the owner initially quoted $2500 to $2800 for the total job but then ended up charging me $4100.
The lead electrician that was sent to my home reported wrong hours to the owner and I was charged for them. When I brought it to the owners attention he confronted me and the employee about it. The employee would not admit to the difference in hours. I told the owner that I had text to prove the hour differences. I provided text proof of hours and the owner did nothing to rectify the billing differences. He claims he did but he did not. He just added additional hours so it looked as if he fixed the hour discrepancy. The employee admitted to me of working sick and less hours than what he submitted.
The electricians installed a new exhaust fan in the bathroom during demo and did not secure it. It fell into the demo pile and was thrown away. The owner Bill charged me for another fan of $175.
The lead electrician worked very slow and had to have some his work reworked by the helper.
Between the hour discrepancy and the slow work due to being sick this cost me at least 6 hours worth of work. At $100 an hour that is $600.
This is the worst service I have ever had from a skilled tradesman. In the end this owner definitely over charged me at least $775. Be very cautious if you use this company. Get quotes in writing and VERIFY every minute they are in your home.
