"These guys were fantastic! I had three pendant lights installed over our kitchen bar area. Joel arrived on time and got right to work. It involved running wires in the attic to the breaker box, installing wiring boxes in the ceiling and hanging the lights. Joel was very professional and kept the mess to a minimum. The lights turned out great and look like they came with the house!"

"Dean and his partner did a great job on the install and provided good professional input on how low to hang an outdoor patio fan on a 20â ceiling. "Crew,Mike & Riley shows up on time ready to go to work. We go over work with them and they did already know what the job was. Mike worked on moving the light switches while Riley started on removing old kitchen ceiling lights and installing new LED can lights & a new pendant light over sink. All work was completed by lunch time and professional done. Loved working with power usa. The people are always easy to work with and they will explain things to so even I can understand how it works. I have used this company several times since moving to Florida a year and 1/2 ago."

If you’re removing a ceiling fan without visible screws, start by locating the fan canopy—a round cover placed above the fan blades and motor. There should be a thin ring that can be turned counterclockwise to remove the canopy and reveal the screws. After unscrewing the fan, you can disconnect the wires and remove the entire fan from the mounting hardware. For safety, make sure the fan switch is turned off before you remove the canopy. (multiply by 1.2 for a steep roof and 1.15 for a dark roof). That number is the CFM required for your fan to run efficiently.

Many ceiling fan mounts feature a design that can accommodate slight slopes by using a ball joint mechanism at the end of the downrod. If your ceiling has a steeper slope than your fan allows for, you can install a downrod that will allow your fan to safely hang below the slope.
