"George and his dad (Jim) came by and checked out the damage to the siding & insulation underneath. The estimate was a little higher than originally gave because of the damage underneath to the insulation. George apologized for the increase and also cleaned/tightened our gutters (which needed both). The crew was able to take care of the replacement quickly and the color match was right on point. Definitely consider Louise August for any of your work on your home because George & Jim are honest, straight forward, and provide good quality work at an affordable price. I'll be using them again for my home improvement work for sure!"

"My first time using Angie's List proved to be well worth it! I saw a deal for replacement windows through American Jewel Window Systems for a pretty good price, 5 windows for $1499. I ordered them and met with Chuck who came to my home to take the initial measurements. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! He showed me the options and gave me the estimate. The deal did not include the screens, which cost at an additional $10 each. The following week, the installer came by to take more measurements. Two weeks later, the company called me for an install date. 
The two installers came and were absolutely perfect. They brought in all the supplies, removed the old windows, took caution and placed cloth tarp, installed the new windows, sealed them properly, and cleaned up after themselves. I was amazed at how fast and quietly they worked. What a difference in warmth replacing a few windows can do. The rooms where the windows were replaced were always very cold. Chuck had told me I would see a huge difference when getting rid of my old aluminum ones for brand new vinyl ones. We were so pleased with the initial 5 windows, that we contacted them again and replaced an additional 11 windows in our home. 
I am extremely happy and satisfied with this decision. My house is warmer and I felt that I received a really great deal!
Will happily use them again!

I had used this company years ago under a different name and had excellent service and products (windows & doors).  Although the name has changed, it is still owned by original family members.  We visited their show room and selected patio doors and agreed on a price.  The order and processing process was managed very well.  Installation was scheduled and two workmen arrived on time and did a very good job.  They even repaired some termite damage in the framing prior to installing the doors.  Installation was very well done and the area was cleaned and left without problems.

After installation, I noticed that there was a rattle when the door was closed and could be heard if the glass was knocked upon.  The workmen indicated it was a result of the style of door which had trim outside the two panels of door glass.  I reported this to the company who scheduled a visit with a door manufacturer rep and a senior company rep.  They indicated the rattle was a result of the style of door.  The options were to accept the current door or replace it with a different style which we selected.  The company ordered the new door, scheduled and installed the new door.  They also credited my account for the lesser of the amount between the two doors.  We are very pleased with the new door and energy savings from the upgraded doors.

"We chose All Eco Design Center to renovate our 1948 colonial’s dining room, galley kitchen and adjacent powder room. We got competitive bids from several companies but were won over by Dave’s green values, attention to detail, and low pressure style. During the very first meeting it felt like we had a friend over who just happened to know all about home renovations. That sense of familiarity and trust carried over with Kristen, the designer, Hadi, who deftly managed the 8 week job, and the wonderful crew (shout out to Yesbin, Jesus, Jose, Antonio and Osman!). The work went smoothly, with the team taking great care to contain the dust and mess so that we could live comfortably in the rest of our house. Whenever we had a question or concern, we simply texted Hadi, and he always responded promptly and with a few possible solutions. Bonus: when we unexpectedly adopted two wily kittens halfway through the job, the whole team was gracious and careful. The renovation finished right on schedule and we could not be more happy with it. Our only regret is that we didn’t do it sooner. "The biggest problem I had with this company was responsiveness before the work was done. After calling them to use the coupon, it took a while to get them to my house to do an estimate. Then it took over a week to actually get the estimate so I could schedule the work. And then two weeks to get on the schedule.
With that said, the person they sent did a FANTASTIC job. I had a section of rotted wood above my entry door and it had been a problem area for years apparently. The last time I had to have the wood replaced the previous owners had not told me about termite damage behind this section. Anyway, this time around the service person said that we would fix it right.
He scraped out all of the damaged wood and replaced the damaged section with a PVC-based solution so I'll never have to worry about it rotting again. All I have to do is keep it painted and caulked.
I'm VERY happy. It looks great. He was very pleasant, friendly, professional. He explained everything to me and he worked until he finished.
The likelihood that the 3 hours included in the coupon will cover your work when there is rot involved --it took 6 hours and the materials cost $160.00. With that said, it could've ended up costing a lot more so I definitely recommend taking advantage of the coupon deal if they offer it again.

"One of the most responsive and flexible contractors I've ever dealt with. Promptly returned my phone calls and performed lightning fast turnaround (within 1.5 days of visit/assessment). This could have been even quicker, but I encouraged George to take his time! With very reasonable ($ 85 for an upgrade package), prompt turnaround and the specialization in this field (not many in this field) - would not hesitate to hire again or recommend for similar projects. George also has nearly 15 year's experience in the window/door industry, and is familiar with many of the major brands. You will be pleased!!"

"It took much longer than expected, part of this was due to inclement weather & 2 ft of snow. When installer came he noted that porch was not secure enough to place sunroom on.  Owner of company came out to inspect while shoring up was being done.TRS shored up porch. Installer knowledgable and helpful. During demoing & building of stairs, they tripped power to house 3 times, finally they took out old outlet from old porch and used other outside outlet.
Projected time to start was 11/14/15 & finish 12/14/15, was not started until mid Dec., and finished 2/25/16.  County did not issue permit until Dec. TRS might be a little more realistic about construction times. Built sturdy steps & landing and put in all new electric to sunroom. A few knobs for windows missing which they had to reorder and one screen not set in properly and bugs got in, and cover plate to electric box with wiring to porch was not put on. They did fix after a few calls. 
When dumpster removed from driveway, it knocked my A/C unit off its base, unit needs to be repositioned we are waiting to see what that will cost. 
TRS did send out a quality review staffer to go over the whole project when finished, which is rare, so it appears that they really want client feedback.

"The team found bricks that matched the shape of the current ones, constructed the railing so it was identical to the original design (required by my HOA) and painted it with three layers of primer/paint to fend off future rust. Project included sanding and repainting an iron gate as well. I am totally pleased with the finished product and will be soon using the 5th Gen Group for another brick project."
