"We have had a Capital Oven with intermittent igniter issues for the past several months and called over to see if they can help get it back to working order before the Holiday cooking season. He had the parts replaced and oven back in running order in less than an hour. He was nice, clearly communicated the problem and confirmed full price of repair before completing. "My chest freezer broke down and I did not want to buy a new one since I could not afford the same size. I reached out to appliance parts pro and they were confident that what I ordered would fix my problem. $200 in parts later and I now have a broken freezer on my porch and am still paying the loan to this terrible company. They just want you to order parts and try them because they know you can't return them. I hate this company with every fiber of my being and will make sure that anyone that has a broken appliance will not use them. To top it off, their site is so screwed up that it give you an error trying to log back in. I ended up having to create THREE different accounts because every time I went to place a new order, it would not let me login and it would not send a password reset email. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF."

He fixed the mess I made - DIY is not my strength, and I added a second leak through my efforts. Then he took the time to find the original leak - it was a slow leak, and didn't present immediately. He found the problem, ordered the part before he left, came back after the weekend to install. He showed where the old part had deteriorated, and left the part with me. $206.32 in total for two visits, the part and the repair. More than reasonable! On a side note, Jim is a delight to talk to. He was up front about what could be done, how long it would take, his prices were reasonable and I was thrilled that I could have any color cabinets I wanted. This is a owner to customer business I take the calls as well as do all the repairs my self. I carry most parts in my van. If i don't have the parts they normally only take a day to get and have them installed. I also have an A+ with the better business bureau.

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."
