Starting with a showroom filled with an astonishing variety of materials, guided by a friendly, knowledgeable staff, we were thrilled with the end result. Every member of Mather's team was highly skilled, experienced, and attentive to the smallest details. They were always happy to answer my many questions, and provide advice, even on matters that were outside the scope of their work. They went way beyond ensuring that we were satisfied with every step of the process, they wanted us to be delighted, which we were. They exceeded our very high expectations, and were a pleasure to work with.

Mr. Mather and the installers were wonderful. Very professional and very nice people They removed the old laminate counters & hauledi it away. We received pricing from other contractors and they did not include this service. We would definitely recommend & use them again.

They completed everything.  Pickup was very easy and they gave me great advice for installation

Quite well. Helped us see that we really did not need a sink made to order. Saved us quite a bit of money by using a pre- made sink. Gave my husband excellent directions for installation. Did not need to hire a plumber for faucet. Would highly recommend Mr. Mather.

Company was excellent to work with.  I visited their store and met with Mr. Mather.  He explained all the options available and pricing estimates in a thorough and informative way.  Really helped in my decision.  I visited several retailers before I hired Mather Co. to do the work.  Everything was done on time.  Appointments made to measuring and installing were on time and thoroughly done.  The installation was excellent.  You can't find or see the seem in the counter-top!   They installed the new sink and reinstalled the faucets.  They cleaned up after the work.  Even vacuumed out the bottom cabinets after the counter was installed.  Very courteous, clean and professional employees.  I will definitely use them when it's time to replace the bathroom counters and recommend them to friends and family.

Salesman did a great job explaining all the choices, techniques, features, and options for all the products. Probably over-explained but it's a good sign that they actually care about what they are selling. Was very up-front with the pricing & the lead times and everything that goes into a successful install.
Pre-ordered the material about a month in advance, that was a 50% deposit. They came and did the final template when the cabinets were installed, and the counters were crafted in a week. That was fantastic, I expected at least four.
The two guys who came to install them did a great job. Very diligent, very careful, very precise & meticulous. Tightly fitted against the walls and a truly invisible joint. The breakfast bar itself is "floating", no brackets, they installed steel bars to strengthen it underneath, all properly shimmed to make it level where the wall was not. They also took the time to explain how to care for the countertops & the proper materials to use for the drain.
Everything came out great, counters look fantastic. No complaints at all.

They do a real good job. The price was comparable to all the other companies that I went to.

Outstanding from the first point of contact with the owner, Tom Mather, through the completion of the job.  Tom was extremely helpful in picking out just the right countertop material to match tile which we had already picked out.  He has an excellent design sense and was very patient with us.  When he correctly sensed we weren't completely sold on the countertop that we eventually chose, he sent us home with a larger sample and encouraged us to take our time.  The countertop was delivered and installed on the date and time specified when we signed the contract.  The father and son installation team were very skilled and a joy to work with.  I could have purchased the same counterop elsewhere for a lower price but our experience clearly demonstrated that you generally get what you pay for.   All things considere, it was an excellent value.  I would not hesitate to use Mather again.

They curve in the seams and beveled the edge. Where the counter met the doorway,  they did some special stuff to make it look nice. They were prompt. The installation was perfect. I would use them again.

If you should visit the Mather Showroom, you might be surprised. The website gives you the impression that the business is high end and large-- it's not really. It really looks like it is-- a family run business with a sufficient store front that's been around for a long time. They are listed as a Cambria-certified dealer which is why I went with them to start, and then stayed with them because of their reputation.  I had done a lot of work before I visited them, including ordering a number of samples from Cambria directly. So I knew what I wanted before I even went there. I had sketched out the project, including dimensions and approximate cut-outs for the sink and stove, and brought that with me on my visit. I received a quote on the spot which was handed to me on a piece of paper-- and was in the range I expected. Once I confirmed the order, they came out and spent two hours templating-- a fascinating and confidence-inspiring process. THey left with the sink I had already purchased, and in about a month (after 2 delays from the distributor) they came to install. During those unexpected delays, the woman who runs the office was honest and clearly distressed on my behalf. She kept me from becoming irate and disappointed by keeping me informed!

It's the installers that validated I had gone with the right company.  A father and son team (real craftsmen) that knew exactly what they were doing. They listened to old radio shows on their cassette player, were on time, funny and nice guys. They spent the entire day ensuring the fits were exact and the finished edges perfect. And the clean up was terrific. The sink was $1000 (undermount Elkay double, 10" deep). They suggested they install reinforcements on the outside of the bowls under the cabinets to supplement the sink clips. They put in 2x4's, and countersunk the screws and beveled the edges!  They were great. I was able to work in the next room with very little disturbance.

One piece of advice? THere is a LOT of grit created during the installation. Had I known that, I would have (in addition to cleaning out the cabinets as suggested) removed the window treatements and covered the furniture.

From my first meeting with Tom Mather at his shop, I was treated professionally and with personal attention to my questions and concerns.   Tom explained the various options I had in great detail and made excellent suggestions to meet my counter-top needs.   The estimate was accurate and fair.  The appointment for measurements was made and Jim arrived at my home on time to complete the process.   The counter-top was installed yesterday and is beautiful and professionally done.   I know there is a seam but my husband and I can't find it!  The team that came to remove the old counter-top and sink and install the new ones arrived exactly on time, placed padded covers over my kitchen floor, took the time needed to make sure the job was done correctly and that the counter-top was fitted perfectly and level.  They also installed the under-mount sink.  They were careful of my cabinets and floors, cleaned up after the job was completed and were very professional and courteous.   I will definitely use this company for future work and will recommend them to friends and family.

The service was top notch. There was no hard sell - in fact, when I selected a color, Tom questioned me as he knew I was initially interested in a different color and he asked me to take home the sample again and make sure I was sure. He genuinely seemed more interested in me being a happy customer than with making the sale. He was extremely knowledgeable throughout the process, helping me narrow down first the type of countertop that would work best for my needs and then the actual product/manufacturer. Once I decided to move forward, everything went very smoothly and quickly - the only holdup was me buying a sink so they could get the template to make the cutout. Again, no hard pressure sales tactics to buy a sink from them, which I didn't. The measurements they took for the countertops were spot on - it fit like a dream. The installers were very clean and very detailed - I wouldn't even know I had a seam except I know where it is because they showed me. My father-in-law is a plumber who reinstalled the disposal and put in the new faucet when they were done and even he commented on how impressive their work was - he said they hooked up the dishwasher lines like he would expect a plumber to do, not as he's seen done on other jobs by less professional people. He also said their placement for the faucet holes and the measurements were perfect. I must say, I love the end result and hearing my relative who is in the business compliment my choice of vendor just made it that much better.

They were excellent to deal with and their workmanship was excellent. They were very flexible on scheduling and they were committed to their schedule. They also kept their schedule.
