Quotes from others all recommended replacement. HD Mechanical gave me an estimate for repair and it was fixed right away, an at a fair price. Brandon and Tim are the best and are professional and dedicated to getting the job done without trying to upsell to unnecessary replacement. It works fantastic. They also happened to fix my ac as well, with no cost to me. If you are a woman alone, hire this company. They're honest and fair, and provide great service"

"I had a 30+ year old air conditioner system that went out during the hottest time of the year. We contacted multiple HVAC contractors who didn't even want to diagnose the system, they just looked at it and said it needs replacement and gave us some outrageous pricing for it. Then we called Cool Air For You. They sent out Vadim who actually took his time with our unit and gave his honest recommendation. He let us know our compressor is out but our unit is completely rusted. He said he could possibly repair the compressor but there would be no guarantees how long the repairs would last. He also let us know that if the unit goes out again there would be no saving it and replacing would be our only option. He also said that if we do replace our system we would also have to replace the refrigerant lines as ours were currently made from plastic...this is something no other contractor told us. Since we were dying in our home due to how hot it was, we decided to go with the repair for now but had him give us a quote for replacement. A month later our unit was still working good but we decided to go ahead with replacement. We called back Cool Air For You on a Monday and spoke with Claudia she answered the phone right away and was able to get the install scheduled for that Friday. The installers, Victor and Andre came right at 8am, they laid out drop clothes on my floor so they wouldn't get my floors dirty...they worked very hard and stood at my place till the job was complete. They left around 6pm. Overall excellent experience with all aspects of this company, from the office, techs and installers. Honest and fair priced companies are hard to come by these days. Highly recommend to all friends and family. I never leave reviews but this company exceeded all my expectations!"

"They came out on time and did the inspection. It was determined that the thermostat was broken. We were shown options that he could install right then and there, and told how we could do it ourselves if we wanted a different thermostat. We chose a different one and installed it according to their directions. We have been toasty warm all winter."

"The problem was resolved by cleaning a sensor for which they only charged me half hour labor. He also wrote me a letter when we filed with the licensing board. He suggested that I get a different type of connection from the gas. I wanted to give him some more business because he only charged me 50 bucks. So, I had him come out and do that. He showed up on time and didn?t jerk me around. He didn?t give me an inflated estimate and he did what he said he would do. I am pleased with him."

Follow up: I made my decision and signed the contract. Best decision I could have made. They were thousands of dollars less for the exact same equipment than 3 other companies I got estimates from. When challenged none of the other companies could revise their estimate to even come close. Southland is a Mitsubishi diamond dealer so I got full Mitsubishi warranties plus 1 year from Southland of parts and service. The day the installers arrived, on time, it was raining. Jamie and Ricardo used the utmost care to protect my home. They covered the floors, moved and covered the furniture and made sure before they left that I fully understood how to use the remote and operate the equipment. I have attached a photo so you can see for yourself the way they carted for my home. The equipment works perfectly. I would hire this company again in a heart"

"Very well. Technician, John Ruiz, showed up on time - as scheduled, was very polite, thorough, informative, and very professional. John pointed out some potential safety issues with our aging system and made some recommendations. My wife and I were very impressed with his explanations of his findings in our system as he showed us discrepancies and took several pictures of problem areas that would have been difficult to access. I also want to comment that the installation team, Adam Palazzola and Diego V. were nothing short of outstanding! It only took them 2 days of ripping out the old system and installing the new. Overall - we are very pleased with Home Comfort USA."

"Installation was smoooth, it was done within a day. There was high pressure sales involed which I succumbed into as the sales guys were saying that I had fiber damage in my ducting and since I have kids in the house they said that it was very crucial that I do the change now. It was my fault to not do any more pricing research hence I was a bit gouged."
