"I needed an oil change done on my Mercedes. Dave the owner made sure he had all the right spec fluids for my car when I go there. Connie the friendly receptionist was friendl and efficient.. I was in and out quick all fluids topped off, and potential problems brought to my attention, no sales pitch just good old fashioned honest people. We'll do business with them again. Highly Recommended

"Carlos Chamorro from Southland Heating and Air Conditioning was very helpful and explained the details very well. He was on time and very friendly. He was very professional. I had a very positive experience with this company. They confirmed with me and gave me a half-hour window to meet up with them. Great company so far."

"Steven was the technician that initially came and inspected my unit. Turns out the previous owner had a dog that constantly urinated on the AC unit and the damage worsened over time. I was a bit skeptical at first but after research found that this is a very common occurrence. Steve was very detailed about my options and after a few estimates from other companies I went with his company NRG. I purchased a new Goodman AC unit and a new condenser for a bit under $4900. The installers were 3 different techs who were professional, tidy and thorough. Once the new unit was installed it was 80x's more quiet than my previous unit and the house cooled down beautifully. I definitely would recommend using this company."

"Evening of Valentine's Day we learned our water heater had broken.
Called Bob & Marc the next morning and had an appointment of 3 pm. They were available earlier, but I could not get out of work any earlier.
Spencer was on time and got right to work. He was very professional, careful and friendly.
He assessed that the water heater was broken, drained and removed the old one and installed the new one.
He made sure that the TPM piping was exact, fit and would last. He was very helpful in explaining what he was doing and was even very helpful in providing advice on how to extend the life of this new water heater.
He cleaned up and all that was left was a professionally installed water heater that has been working great.
Thanks for the quick, friendly service (also be sure to use the 10% off coupon found on their  Angie's list page).

"It turned out to be a journey.  I have a GE water heater, told by All Pro that GE is really not one of the best ones, if you're looking for one to buy.  Anyway, GE was difficult to deal with.  They didn't want to take the plumbers word on what was wrong with the water heater. The complete set of parts needed to fix the water heater did not come, therefore All Pro did attach the one part that did come.  They were paid the full amount told to me by the plumber for the complete job even though all parts did not come.  We had to wait over the weekend to get the second part from GE.  One of the plumbers quoted me another charge to come and install the second part and I felt like I was being charged twice for the second part to be installed, therefore I made call to supervisor who told me I would not have to pay again for the second installation.  Thank you Steve.  When other part arrived and All Pro came to finish the repair (Ricky and Paul), they repaired the water heater, got it working and were very professional in doing there job. (They did tell us that we had to wait at least 1 hour to make sure water was hot), as I have not heard from my tenant, I guess it is working.  Despite all the setbacks All Pro did a good job for me and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber."

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

Chilled water HVAC systems use water instead of traditional components and refrigerants. They're more common in commercial settings than residential ones but are slowly being adopted by some homebuilders to cool homes. As the name implies, the system keeps the water chilled at 40 degrees and circulates it through water coils. The water absorbs the heat from your home and drains outdoors. Condo apartments are more likely to have chilled water HVAC than single-family homes because this system is designed to cool several rooms or large areas individually.

It takes about five to 10 minutes for heat to reach a radiator, then about one hour until the radiator fully heats up a room. The exact duration depends on the size of the room and how far away the radiator is from the boiler heating system. Heating up an entire house could take up to two hours.

Safety concerns with propane boilers include proper venting to prevent carbon monoxide buildup, secure gas line connections, and regular inspection of safety controls. Professional boiler installation and annual maintenance are essential to minimize risks. Having a carbon monoxide detector installed in your home is essential for early detection of any leaks or ventilation issues.

Yes. Boilers need water to run without overheating, also known as dry firing. If you run it without a sufficient volume of water, either because of a burst pipe or a leak, you run the risk of damaging your machine or jeopardizing the safety of your home as a whole. When in doubt, shut off your boiler and repair any plumbing issues before turning it back on. Alternatively, consider installing a low-water cutoff (LWCO) before any issues arise. This gadget will protect your boiler by monitoring water levels and automatically shutting it off if it gets too low.

The best time of year to purchase or replace an HVAC system, including components like an air conditioner or furnace, is during the off-season—spring and fall. During these periods, HVAC professionals are less busy than in summer and winter, when extreme temperatures create urgent demand. Shopping during the off-season can lead to savings of 10% to 15% on an AC unit and allows you more time to find the best deal and other cost-saving incentives. Typically, air conditioning units go on sale in the fall after demand drops, while furnace prices tend to decrease in the spring.
