"I’m always happy to give good reviews and say “this is the guy you want.” Demolition was done in an organized way and cleaned up before leaving for the day and most importantly, the finished job is done right and looks great — they are skilled. Joe has decades of experience and has trained his guys very well — they are focused and hard working so they are pretty impressive. Two examples: When the guys dig, they don’t toss the dirt like wild monkeys, they place it as calmly as possible to prevent excessive dust from flying around. That’s the way it should always be done. When they unloaded a pile of sand in my driveway, they didn’t pour it on the cement as most do, they laid down a plastic sheet first and then wrapped that around the pile overnight so the sand couldn’t blow all over the place. And when a little bit of sand falls from the shovel onto the cement, they sweep it up. They are not lazy! And an example of how good Joe is: One of the things he did for me was to put in a drain pipe with a pump. After he installed the pump, he knocked on my door to ask me if I wanted the paperwork that came with the pump or to just leave it in the garage. Workers will usually either just leave any paperwork outside or even just throw it away. Joe took the time to ask me what I preferred before he left for the day. Being respectful and helpful is being smart. It’s so wonderful when you find quality people. They work from 7:30 to 3:30 and play music sometimes but are not talkative to one another. If you want a great painting company, hire Larry Bisordi or Esteban Nunez Casillas. If you want a great masonry company, hire Joe Messineo."

Mike explained clearly how the work would play out and job went well from start to finish. His team were prompt and hard working. His price was vary competitive and we would recommend him highly."

"The Foundation Works was one of the contractors that bid for this work. Their initial inspection of the crawl space and the foundation was much more thorough than the other contractor. They also identified an area of the foundation that needed repair and included that work in their original estimate. Due to our travel we had to delay the work for several months after the original inspection and bid. We explained that to them and they had no problem with our scheduling issue. When we finally scheduled the work to be done they were very responsive and scheduled the work to our needs. Once the work began their team worked hard and diligently for both the bolting of the house as well as the repair work. The team finished in 3 days and kept us informed all along the way as to how things we going. Once finished they scheduled the Building Inspector who responded within a week. The Foundation Works foreman was there when the inspector arrived and went over the completed work. Between the finish of the work and the inspection I personally crawled the perimeter of the house and inspected the work and repair to reassure myself and the home owner that everything was completed. It was a dusty slow trip but I was not surprised to find everything in good order and all work satisfactorily completed. I was more than pleased with the quality of the Foundation Works job and their collaboration with us was terrific. I have already recommended them to a friend and wouldn't hesitate to give them as high a rating as I can. This is a well-run business!"

"Our front yard needed some structure. Gadi helped design and build two entry pillars in stone masonry, plus a new walkway to the door. The old path was narrow and cracked, and the new one is wide and fits the property better. The pillars gave us a real entrance feel. They also ran low-voltage lights inside the pillars so they light-up at night. It's not flashy, just clean and sharp. The stone matches the front steps, and everything feels like it belongs now. "We switched projects and Jose tackled a drainage project instead of the brick path we had originally planned. He did the job well. I did have to mention that French Pipe needs to have the holes on the bottom, not top. We’ve had three good rain storms since the install and the project is diverting water from the house to the street. There were some irrigation lines they hit while digging but fixed quickly. Overall, very friendly and reasonably priced."
