Once the job started, I continued to be pleased. Eugene (Gene) led the crew and did a fantastic job over the 5 days they were at our house. He had the tools and equipment to be thorough, and I found him super knowledgeable and friendly. James found very high CO levels in my exhaust and recommended that I not run the system until we got this resolved. For the safety of my family, I'm so glad he had the tool to measure CO levels, and that he identified the safety problem."

"Fair service on my furnace. The thing I am concerned is I was overcharged with the Thermostat they installed. I paid $145.00 for a thermostat costing $85.00. I checked price from other businesses to see how much the same Thermostat cost. Also, found out after they left that the name of their business is inscribed in the thermostat they installed. It should even be discounted since they are using the thermostat to advertise their business. This is taking advantage of innocent people like me. Won't use them again."

"Sal from ABC Cooling and Heating came a day after I called the company (I got an appointment with them 5 minutes after sending the email requesting an appointment). He was professional and pleasant. He explained to me how to clean the filters in my furnace and how to install them back in place, thus saving me $200. I appreciated his advice, as I really didn't want to spent that money on him simply just washing the filters, a do-it-yourself job, if the home owner is able to do it. At the end, we were able to replace a bad capacitator and figure out that the compressor worked just fine with this new part. I paid $234 for the capacitator, $59 for the home visit and labor and got 10% off as a member of Angie's list. I am not sure if it was a good price or not for the capacitator (I didn't check prices online), but I was perfectly happy with the job and Sal. I think that $59 was a good price for the labor, considering that you have to pay this fee anyways for the diagnostic/home visit."

"The technicians that came to install our HVAC system were super friendly and accommodating to my many requests about locations of the furnace, vent pipes, the condenser wiring, piping, and the condenser itself. When I asked for a 90 degree boot feeding two registers so the piping could stay high, a technician made a run to a store and found them. I want to give a shout out to Danny Aguilar who installed the furnace with Edgar and Victor. Grant Duran with Jose and Richard did an amazing job installing the vent pipes. Finally Adolph Garcia with Gabriel and later several other technicians I previously mentioned all worked to install the AC system (condenser and its plumbing + electrical). They worked late into the day to complete the job. I was very demanding in where I wanted things installed and requested changes on a regular basis but in all cases I was accommodated."

He took photos of the intake duct so we could see their condition. I will be scheduling a manual deep cleaning of the whole system next!"
