"Valley Heating was courteous and professional at all times. They kept their promises and met their installation date. Because they were backlogged with heater repairs, they loaned us without charge an electric space heater for the interim. I wasn't satisfied with the exposed fiberglass batting applied to the base of the furnace. The crew told me that it was not routine to wrap the fiberglass. But Valley agreed to send a technician to wrap it later at no charge. They did so and now I'm a satisfied customer. My only complaint is that both the furnace and the AC rated at the low end of the efficiency scale, despite costing almost $9,000. Fortunately, the weather in Sunnyvale is mild so paying more for greater efficiency did not make sense."

"Duke did a great job at a fair price. We needed AC and decided to replace our old furnace at the same time. In addition Duke wrapped with insulating bubble wrap our old ducts that were exposed. He tied the drip line into our existing downspout in a neat fashion. I'd highly recommend him (he's a fellow submarine vet too!!)."

He had the tools and equipment to be thorough, and I found him super knowledgeable and friendly. James found very high CO levels in my exhaust and recommended that I not run the system until we got this resolved. For the safety of my family, I'm so glad he had the tool to measure CO levels, and that he identified the safety problem."

After over 10 calls to other companies Rachel and Diego were the only ones willing to work with us on a time restricted job. We sold our house and needed work done on our furnace for the new buyers. They are always available when you call them, and the job gets done when they say it will be. Price quotes were straight forward and reasonable compared to other finished job prices I see listed here. Loved them so much I recommended my mother in law use them to replace her heat/ac units in her big house where we temporarily live, another positive review to come!"

"Sal from ABC Cooling and Heating came a day after I called the company (I got an appointment with them 5 minutes after sending the email requesting an appointment). He was professional and pleasant. He explained to me how to clean the filters in my furnace and how to install them back in place, thus saving me $200. I appreciated his advice, as I really didn't want to spent that money on him simply just washing the filters, a do-it-yourself job, if the home owner is able to do it. At the end, we were able to replace a bad capacitator and figure out that the compressor worked just fine with this new part. I paid $234 for the capacitator, $59 for the home visit and labor and got 10% off as a member of Angie's list. I am not sure if it was a good price or not for the capacitator (I didn't check prices online), but I was perfectly happy with the job and Sal. I think that $59 was a good price for the labor, considering that you have to pay this fee anyways for the diagnostic/home visit."

Personable and professional, he quickly hooked up his equipment and let the machines do their work, which took about 30 minutes for our 1400 SF house. He took photos of the intake duct so we could see their condition. I will be scheduling a manual deep cleaning of the whole system next!"
