We had a wonderful experience with Comfort Energy! The service person, whose name was Chance, did a thorough evaluation of the problem with a focus on saving us as much money as possible, to either repair or replace our 30-year-old heat furnace. He quickly determined that our inlet filter was too dense (it was a Merv 11 and should have been a Merv 8) and that that was probably causing the heater to go off an on every 5-10 minutes. He then tested and confirmed his hypothesis. He also performed a CO test to make sure there wasn't anything more serious going on. Finally, he gave us a good idea of replacement options, which we should probably do before the next Winter, but not necessarily right away. All in all, this is exactly the kind of assessment we needed, and it cost orders of magnitude less than what was estimated by the first service company we had come out. Chance was great, and Comfort Energy is our go-to for heating and cooling service and/or installation from now on.

comfort energy (CE) was professional from get go. Perfect interface polite and swift. 3 hrs appointment window. 30 minutes before arrival, got a text with the picture of the technician so I knew him by sight, then he arrived, masked up and wearing booties. Checked out the furnace, figured out what was wrong and changed a component, tested everything. Less than an hour and he was off. Relief at last. He could have easily dropped us in it by pushing us to replace the whole thing, inflicting a huge cost and un-necessary staring on our budget. They are my goto people here onwards.

The appointment was fine until the end when the service technician wrote up a service agreement I had not agreed to and was having me sign as if to confirm the inspection. So I would not select them to repair or replace the ac unit.

Excellent. Max arrived on time and got straight to work. He inspected the furnace, took measurements of the air temp and cleaned all the filters. He provided some helpful information for the potential future replacement of the furnace with options and estimates. Max was professional and personable. The total cost was as quoted. Other companies I contacted either would not give me a quote over the phone, charged to just dispatch a technician, or quoted more than double.

It was a scam. The price was too good to be true. My AC was not working and all I needed was someone to take a look and see what needs to be fixed. The cost quoted was $59. I even scheduled the appt. But once I called them for something, they said the appt process through Angie's list does not work and the $59 is only for changing the filter or something silly like that and I had to upgrade to the $89. But for the $89, the guy did spend time with me explaining what is wrong and if its worth fixing or not. So, why advertise as $59 with bunch of details that you won't even perform?

I'm super glad I took advantage of this offer. James Hayden came out to my house and did a thorough inspection on my furnace that was probably from 1970. He had the tools and equipment to be thorough, and I found him super knowledgeable and friendly. James found very high CO levels in my exhaust and recommended that I not run the system until we got this resolved. For the safety of my family, I'm so glad he had the tool to measure CO levels, and that he identified the safety problem.

He claimed my heat exchanger was cracked which would be $2500 to fix. Then he said I would probably be better off getting a new furnace. Then he looked under my house and said that I would need new ducts. His total price. $16000.00. I called ABC Heating for a second opinion. passion. said there was no crack. They even looked at the pictures he took and said nothing was there. I I would highly advise that you not use Comfort Energy.

The technician arrived to our house and examined our unit to see what was wrong. There was no power running to the unit as it flipped the circuit breaker. The technician told me that due to the age of the unit some parts were bound to fail which is what happened in this case. A few fuses burned out which also burned out a few electrical components that had to be replaced. He explained all the parts that went out and what parts can go out next. He listed all options that were available which I agreed to replace all the electrical just due to the age of the unit. He was very professional and polite and worked with me on a price that would work best for me. He made sure everything was running smoothly after all the repairs were complete and making sure the temperature was matching the thermostat. He even provided information on how to care for the unit and what times and temperatures to use as to not put so much wear on the unit.

In the middle of a heat wave, a/c went out...emailed 7 or 8 businesses and 5 were 2 to 3 weeks out. This company came out in 1 day and fixed the problem in 1 hour. Prompt, professional, no bullying or scare tactics. i would recommend this company without hesitation. My tech was Johnathon Martinez and at no time did i feel he was going to milk the job or B.S. me. You can believe the ratings for this business.

Daran was able to to fix the problem and set us up with a maintenance plan. The cost of the parts was pretty expensive; but we have a working air conditioner now. Daran was polite, on time and explained the work he was going to do. He put booties on each time he entered our house. We appreciated the work he did.

It was very good. The people were very professional. They were pretty quick at coming to a solution, suggesting what to do and giving me different options. It took a while, a couple of days, actually almost a week.

Air conditioner was blowing ambient air only. Tried to contact my usual HVAC company and they were scheduled out 3 weeks because of the recent heat wave. I called 14 companies to check on availability and Comfort Energy was the only one who had an opening within the week. I confirmed with them and was very pleasantly surprised. They confirmed not only the day and time, but also the exact make, model, ans serial number of the unit to ensure they had all the information they needed. In the meantime, my husband was able to get the unit going by installing a new capacitor himself, which he had done in the past, but wanted to go ahead with the service call so we could have the whole system checked out in case there were other issues. The day before the appointment, I received a text confirming the appointment time. I asked that the service technician call 30 minutes before arrival, which he did. The technician, Nasser Pineda, is a fine representative for his company. He was polite, respectful of both my husband and me, and took time at the start of the service call to go over what he would be doing and how he hoped to provide us with the best service we had ever had. He said that the goal of Comfort Energy was to provide us with service above and beyond expectations. He did not fail us. He even wore booties so that he did not track dirt into the house. My husband followed him around asking questions and he was patient and knowledgeable. Nasser also told us about their yearly service plan which would ensure service checkups before the heat of the summer and for the heater before winter cold months. That, plus the guarantee that we would get priority appointment times even during heavy demand, has clinched our participation. Nasser and Comfort Energy know how to do it right; ensure that the client doesn't want to go anywhere else for their HVAC service.

Their tech, Nasser, was on time. He checked the main circuit breaker (CBs not tripped) but then opened a stand-alone box by the A/C that has two cylindrical fuses. One was "blown". He replaced it and the A/C turned on. He then checked the whole system: voltages from the thermostat; coolant level; fan motor operation; temperature difference between an output vent and the intake vent. He gave the A/C a clean bill of health. Nasser is very efficient and quick. Noted that our A/C is old and uses a refrigerant that in two years will not be produced. The replacement will be very expensive. His advice is that if our A/C needs work (i.e. refrigerant) two years from now, if the estimate is over $1000, buy a new A/C

Great - tune up and work was completed in a timely and professional manner. Technician made a point of explaining how the system works and provided pointers regarding care and potential future repairs.
