"Huft Home Services replaced my regular HVAC company when the owners retired. Comfort Master had installed my system in 1995 so we had a 25-year personal relationship. Ed and Donna were still using hardcopy records. When I called Huft on May 12 and talked with Elizabeth, we were able to confirm and establish the status of my ongoing services. We discussed the 2 different areas of work needed, HVAC regular maintenance and an urgent plumbing service for a leaking irrigation valve system. We scheduled the irrigation repair quickly, but I was very disappointed to discover that the repair person was unable to do that work and found out that Huft actually did not work on irrigation. Fortunately I was able to find a provider who came out the next day and did exceptional work – I highly recommend Authentic Landscape/Salvador Gallardo for that work. However, rather than make a complaint, I figured I'd wait to see how the HVAC service went. That appointment was scheduled for a couple weeks later. Anthony was fantastic. He called to let me know he was running late from his previous job. Maybe it was just because I wasn't up on current services, but I am highly impressed that he was able to take many photos of my system and his work – and instantly email them and my invoice to me! He went over in great detail the status of the equipment and anticipation of potential repairs needed over time along with likely cost estimates. We also discussed possible replacements for when I decided I was ready for a new unit. I will certainly continue my maintenance with Huft, and not just because I'm prepaid for a couple more years of biannual services."

We had multiple bids for our kitchen and bathroom remodel, and SCD was the only group that listened to our needs, saw the uniqueness of our home, and worked to satisfy what we needed within our budget. Oleg presented cost-saving suggestions (we did our own demolition, and we sub-contracted out for granite counters). From the beginning, Oleg was able to see the entirety of the project and was able to present us with a complete quote. He recognized the problems that our house was going to present so surprises were minimized. There were teams for each stage of remodeling, and the scheduling was clean. The team of Alex and Alex did an incredible job of fixing the errors of original construction and continued through to the end of the project for finishing work. Stephan led the installation of the cabinets, and the flooring crew installed @1000 ft^2 in one day. Plumbing and electrical work were incredibly professional. From day one to the end, they maintained the timeline initially presented to us, and even when we found a correction we wanted after we completed payments, Vitaly ensured that work was done. I'd vouch for SCD. They did a great job."

"The day the service was scheduled did not go well. We were scheduled between 8 and 12, but they called in the morning to move it back to 10 to 2. I called them after 2 because we had not heard anything. The technician finally came around 3:45. I think it is very poor customer service to expect someone to wait all day for a service call. Once the technician arrived the service was done very professionally. He did find that they should have enlarged our vent with the install two years ago, and they will have to come back and do that. It makes me think they did not have proper attention to detail during the install. There also was an up-sale so that a $79 service call ended up costing us over $450."
