"Back in September we had Eddie , Mario (Eddies right hand guy) and his crew reinvent our weed strewn back yard. Eddie suggested replacing back patio and extending it out with walkways connecting to a new shed and side of house which turned out great. They put in sod, planted plants, put in sprinklers and drip lines, all which transformed our back weed patch into staycation land. Needless to say we were extremely happy with the results. They also removed and replaced our cracked (destroyed) driveway with a nice clean looking driveway admired many times by passing neighbors (probably happy to see our destroyed one go). It also turned out fantastic. We were so happy with Eddie Mullins Landscaping that we had them return this week and put in a drought tolerant landscape in our front yard. We had a patch of artificial turf put in the center of our small front yard. Eddie suggested the other plants and rock to put in since we had no ideas of our own with Mario suggesting some Japanese maple trees to go along with the plants (thanks Mario great idea). We were amazed by the finished product. Several people have stopped and commented how nice our yard looks now. Eddie, Mario and his brother Michael did a stupendous job on our front yard. "The owner initially came to my home to assess the work I needed to have done. He is very knowledgeable about landscaping. The time he spent upfront was greatly appreciated as he fully understood to my landscaping needs. He had great ideas on how to replant a tree, recommend how to control grubs and how to properly care for specific plants. Once the project began the owner was no longer involved. In fact, I never saw him again. In addition to his landscaping services I had him give me a bid for painting my new fence and yard fence. The painting itself was very nicely done however, the worker(s) were careless and left several oil based paint spots damaging 15-20 of my brand new pavers. When I addressed this with The Owner he replied via email his worker(s) told him they didn’t do it. I provided pictures of the pavers as proof to substantiate my claim. The Owner had his lead come by our home to fix a sprinkler head that was covered during sod repair and to remove these stains. When I reached out to The Owner again he solely relied upon his lead who promptly told him the oil based paint stains were removed. The stains still remain, I’ve contacted my pavers company who clearly stated “oil based paint cannot be removed!” It became blatantly obvious the owner was siding with employee. In fact, The Owner not once has stepped foot on my property since he took the bid. He never came to oversee the project and all contact with him has been via email or text. Lastly, we were in agreement to plant a new tree. As of this review, I have never heard back and there was never any follow up as to when this would be done. I really had high hopes In the beginning and I am very disappointed in The Owner’s project management. He appears to be knowledgeable but my recommendation is that he needs to manage his team, stay closer to the project and make an attempt to do a final walk through. Lastly his hourly bill rate was inconsistent vs. negotiated. Hourly rate doubled for final day of painting which I regretfully paid."

"Michael and his team were incredibly professional. They remodeled two of our bathrooms, including doubling the square footage in our master suite. Michael stood behind his work and insured. "I needed to have 20 feet of walkway removed that had been damaged by tree roots. Mark came to my home and explained to me in detail how the old cement would be removed and the details of pouring new concrete that included finishing with exposed aggregate that would match as close to possible to the exposed aggregate that was remaining. The bid for the work came in below two other bids I had received. Mark followed up promptly with a date for the work. The crew arrived on time, removed the old cement and three large roots underneath and hauled it all away, then laid the framework and installed rebar. Within minutes, the cement truck arrived and it was poured. One of the crew remained for the next three hours to finish the exposed aggregate portion of the job. The complete project took around five hours. I am completely satisfied with the finished work. From start to finish all of the contact I had with Mark and the crew was professional, courteous, and friendly. I will definitely contact California Exteriors for any work I will need in the future and will not hesitate to refer my friends and colleagues to hem for similar work."

"Alvaro Mantar did a very good job replacing the concrete apron in front of our garage and blending it into the existing sidewalk. About 110 square feet. Project included correcting the grade for better drainage and hauling away the debris. Job was done in one day and at a very reasonable price. I should note Alvaro was the only contractor who came on-site before submitting a bid. Other contractors just bid based on photos."
