"John Wiltshire was able to fit us in on this super hot day. Wasn't expecting his service until tomorrow. I'm so thankful he found the problem and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Excellent work, very polite and explained what needed to be done. In no time we had AC again. I would highly recommend. Thank you, Spoor's Heating &Air ?"

"David hit some problems with the equipment but he took the time and effort to make sure everything was running correctly. Caught a potential fire hazard and repaired it as well as ordered replacement part . Will look forward to having him replace the part with his usual professional work."

"Air conditioning in one zone stopped working over very hot weekend.  Called three companies to get a quote on possibly replacing both zones before I spent money on repairing a 17+ year old unit.
Diamond was the first company with availability.  Before they came over to give a quote, Bob called to ask me a few questions about the nature of the problem.  He speculated over the phone of what the problem might be and what the cost of fixing it would be.
He arrived for the appointment at the appointed time and proceeded immediately to fix the unit while talking to me about an estimate to replace both zones (2 systems).  He spent extra time hunting down an electrical connection issue in the unit and when done, checked out the flow readings of the system.
$258 dollars fixed the problem.  Since I had scheduled him for a quote, he offered to remove the new part that he had just installed or I could leave it in and if I decided to buy a new system, they would credit the repair of this unit back against it.  I elected to have him leave the fix in place.
Bob quoted me an exceptionally good price per unit for a quality Lennox system.  In fact a competitor who came the following day said that he wanted to see a copy of a written quote because Diamond's price was too good.
Although I've decided for the time being to not replace both systems, I would select Diamond Heating and Air in a second!

"Contacted them. They sent us links to the gas inserts. We picked the one we liked. A few days later they sent someone over to install it. He did a good job. Cleanup everything. Used it the whole winter. No issues. Love it.

"I highly recommend A/C Girl to anyone that needs help with their air conditioning or heating needs.  They are very reasonable, accommodating and pleasant to work with.
Our water heater rusted out and needed to be replaced.  The A/C unit for our house runs parallel to the water heater and the pipes from the A/C unit blocked access our water heater.  The water heater repair company requested that the A/C pipes be moved so they could replace it.  A/C Girl came out, moved the pipes and the water heater was changed.  I called A/C girl back and they promptly replaced the A/C pipes and gave our unit a tune up.

They were willing to work with our schedule to perform the needed work.  We kept changing dates on them due to problems encountered with our water heater installation.

"Although the heat exchanger was still under warranty - the labor intensive job to remove the old one and install a new one wasn't. The labor was $929.00 to complete this all day job. I decided to replace the inducer motor at the same time since it was only a matter of time until it failed. I called Zak - the general manager and he agreed to give me a long-term customer discount. Steve Brown, my service technician notified me that morning when he would arrive and was right on time. He was easy to work with, showed me the wear to the units and explained what he was doing throughout the installation. After removing the heat exchanger, Steve pointed out the evaporator coils needed to be cleaned and gave me a discount for that work too. No one likes an expensive HVAC repair bill, however Ray O. Cook worked with me to ensure it went as smoothly as possible. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future."

"Computer did the "gotta send info to Microsoft" but when tried to reboot it ran through automatic repair without success. I did all the alternative without any success. He came and picked up the hard drive on Tuesday and returned it on Saturday. Fortunately he was able to "restore" without any data loss. Very happy with outcome."

Boiler Repair questions, answered by experts

Air trapped in a heating system can lead to reduced efficiency, uneven heating, increased wear on components, strange noises, and even complete system failure. This trapped air disrupts proper circulation, strains parts, and can cause overheating. Regularly bleeding baseboard heaters and furnaces can prevent these issues, ensuring efficient operation, even heating, and prolonged equipment life.

Costs depend on issue severity, parts needed, and labor rates.

In most cases, repairing a radiator is more affordable than replacing it. A typical repair may cost between $100 and $200, while a replacement can average $1,500, with a range of $250 to $2,500 depending on the unit type. Radiator issues are often simple fixes for a professional, such as a blown fuse, malfunctioning thermostat, or a loose valve, and can take less than an hour. However, if the long-term costs of fixing the radiator are higher than replacement, it's better to get a new model. It is recommended to consult a heating expert to diagnose the problem and determine the best solution for your situation.

It can be difficult to determine the cause of a coolant leak unless you have the unit inspected by a certified professional. Most coolant leaks are caused by wear and tear on seals and joints. This typically happens five years after a unit is installed. Additionally, faulty or worn compressors, evaporator coils, and condenser coils can also cause leaks.

Most HVAC service calls include diagnostic fees, which could include checking on a specific issue you’re experiencing or running through a routine inspection checklist. If you called for a particular problem, the service call will also include an estimate to fix the issue, including materials and labor. Depending on your HVAC technician and the service you requested, you might also get a general inspection of your system components to ensure everything is working as intended.
