"

The price was average. They just, basically, came in and got it done and left. They kind of did robot work and left. They did not explain anything, just go the job done and bounced.

"Russell successfully found and removed mold from behind my toilet. The mold was pretty bad. He made sure the area was confined before removing the mold. He did an amazing job and we feel safe utilizing the bathroom again. He was very professional and took the time to explain what steps he needed to take. I will recommend him to my family and friends. His price beat other quotes I received."

Mold Testing and Remediation questions, answered by experts

If a professional mold inspector finds mold in your home, they’ll conduct mold testing to determine the type of mold species and the number of spores in your home. This plan will help develop a remediation plan, where a mold remediation specialist will remove the spores from your home. Since mold remediation costs the average homeowner $2,225, it’s best to treat mold at the first sign rather than waiting.

PVC is not considered a hazardous waste in most areas, but regulations vary by location. If in doubt, you should contact your local sanitation department to confirm. The Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) has been working to get PVC classified as hazardous waste, so it’s possible that it will be considered as such in the near future. If it is, disposing of PVC will require the use of a hazardous waste disposal facility or transporter in your area.

Yes, both mold and mildew can grow under outdoor rugs if they are exposed to water or humidity for a prolonged period of time. This is why frequently cleaning an outdoor rug and checking its state is important.

If you find black residue in your toilet tank, chances are it’s caused by manganese deposits from hard water and not mold growth. You can prevent these deposits from damaging your toilet by installing a water softener in your home, which also might improve the quality of your drinking water. You can also remove the deposits inside your toilet tank once every six months or so to prevent them from causing problems with toilet functionality.

Yes, outside leaks can easily cause damage to your home if you don’t have waterproofing measures in place. Regularly check your property for signs of a leak, ensure your home’s landscaping is at least at a 5% slope, your basement windows are sealed, and you have an aligned gutter system to catch rainwater.
