At first, we met with Ron that came over and met with us about the issues that we had with our water heater and with the bills that we currently pay for electric. Ron recommended us to replace the bulky old water heater and to install a tankless system that will supply hot water immediately and with the use of less gas. We liked that idea and we decided to go for this project. Ron came over to our house with his 2 people that basically took care of all the removal and the installation of the new system. "Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.
I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services.

"The service was a little rough around the edges. The technician who came out it was his first day on the job. He installed a couple of the screens incorrectly. We called them back and they sent him back out to properly install the screens."

"The plumbing upgrade and dishwasher installation went very well this morning.  I bought a dishwasher for first-time installation in my older home and had texted Joshua the night before with pics of the "then current" plumbing and electrical situation.  He arrived on time with proper plumbing and electrical fittings and went immediately to work.  The used dishwasher I'd bought required more pieces, so getting those from Lowe's was arranged and he finished the entire job within 2 hours!  The only small concern (which he immediately straightened out!!) was the chrome airgap pop-up on the sink was a bit crooked, but again, he fixed that right up.   I am looking forward to hearing his estimate on some upcoming electrical  work for my patio.   I WILL recommend him to my neighbors and local friends!!

"Guy that came out said that it was an issue of the boiler not having enough water. He turned the valve to force water to it and and ended making a mess in my basement floor of black gunk water that I had to clean up. Idk if that was necessarily the issue, he said that’s all it was and nothing else needs to be done. He didn’t provide any type of explanation as to why it wasn’t getting enough water when turned on as this is something that should be self regulated, not something I should have to monitor anytime I turn my heat on. I won’t even necessarily know if this is the case and it’s fixed until fall rolls around again and we need heat, as it is now warming up. I hope that he was correct but quite pessimistic, and felt that a more thorough check should of been done."

"They sell to you a filter to your furnace that is metal that is supposed to be a strong benefit over the throw away kind. This is kind of controversial. You have to take it out and hose it down. I stopped using it on the advice of my air conditioning installer."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
