"We had roof storm damage from the Monsoon this summer. German roofing was the best bid to replace the entire roof, and had the best warranty as well. Manuel, Dianna, Lu, and the installers were great. Good communication via email and phone calls. We are very pleased with the final outcome, and the roof looks fantastic. Thank you all!"

"Sean and Brian of PCC Roofing are true professionals. The roof over my back patio was 22 years old and was need of replacement. With all of the rain we had been getting they were very busy with other jobs but they were able to squeeze me in in between jobs and way ahead of schedule. They did an outstanding job on the roof and did a spotless cleanup of all the waste. Their communication was very clear and they were upfront about everything. I will definitely call them again if I ever have any roofing needs and highly recommended them!"

Roofing questions, answered by experts

Before starting a roofing project in Chandler, confirm your insurance covers roof work and secure all required permits early. Schedule your project between October and April to avoid extreme heat and storms. Have a professional assess your attic ventilation and roof condition, and research cool roof materials suited for desert climates. If you’re in an HOA, double-check their roofing guidelines to prevent unexpected interruptions.

Helpful?

Chandler’s hot summers and sudden monsoon storms create unique challenges for roofing projects. High temperatures can make installation unsafe and affect material performance, while storms can delay work or damage exposed areas. UV rays accelerate wear on standard shingles, so UV-resistant or cool roof materials are recommended. Planning your project for the cooler, drier months and scheduling regular maintenance helps ensure your roof stands up to local weather extremes.

Helpful?

In Chandler, homeowners often overlook the importance of UV-resistant roofing materials, which are crucial for withstanding the intense Arizona sun. Scheduling projects during monsoon season can lead to weather-related setbacks. Choosing dark shingles may increase cooling costs, while skipping reflective or cool roof options misses out on energy savings. Failing to secure proper permits or hiring contractors unfamiliar with local climate challenges can also cause delays and extra expenses.

Helpful?

Completing a roofing project in Chandler can make your home more attractive to buyers, especially if you choose energy-efficient or solar-ready materials. New roofs signal reduced maintenance needs and improved protection from the elements, which can speed up the selling process. Features like reflective shingles or cool roofing can appeal to buyers looking to save on energy costs, and updated roofs may help lower insurance premiums.

Helpful?

Combining roofing with upgrades like solar panel installation, attic insulation, or improved ventilation in Chandler can streamline your project and reduce disruption. Coordinating these improvements means fewer contractor visits and less time your home is under construction. Solar panels are especially effective in Chandler’s sunny climate, and energy-efficient upgrades can enhance comfort while lowering long-term utility bills. Bundling projects also simplifies scheduling and inspections.
