John Shaw brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience to his work and was incredibly helpful and patient in answering our questions and reviewing our options at every point in our roofing job. He always took the time for phone calls and explained the process step by step so that there were no surprises. I felt that we had a thorough education on the basics of roofing repair and the range of available products on the market. He, his son Hunter, and his entire crew did a remarkable job at re-doing our 28-year old tile roof in an amazingly short time. They were courteous, unobtrusive, working reasonable hours, and they cleaned up every day at the end of the day. At the conclusion of the job, they did the best clean-up I have ever seen by any crew of home repair or improvement staff we have hired. In being in and around the yard following the work, I have found only two nails and a few minute bits of scrap. To me, this was amazing. John was personally on the job site every single day providing oversight and supervision doing cleanup, answering questions and acting as a personal resource for us. Prior to making our decision to hire John and Sons for this job, we obtained five other inspections/estimates from contractors from both Home Advisors and other similar companies. Johnâ s price was not the very lowest, although certainly competitive, and we felt that his company was worth every penny of the cost. We would not hesitate to do business with or recommend John and Sons for roofing work or any other contract work appropriate for their skill sets. Great company!

John and his crew worked with us during a time sensitive project that was delayed due to our HOA. He followed up rebuy and prepared so we could get our house painted on time and still had a beautiful painted home in the end. He also pointed out areas of concern we would not have noticed due to the location of where the issues were. We trust John and his crew and have them in our files to call on him whenever we need more work done.

Overall, John and team did a good job. After John submitted the proposal, I had follow up questions which he clearly answered and incorporated into the proposal per my request. His team did a good job prepping, painting, and cleaning up. There are a few follow items which I need John to address, but I ve yet to receive a response. That is why I m withholding a 5 star rating. After winning the job, it is also important to respond to follow up concerns/questions.

They showed up when they said they would and work continued until finished. The owner, John, is a very pleasant guy to talk to and work with. I would use them again.

I had a first response with in a few hours. John Shaw came out did an immediate estimate on what needed to be done. Paint samples were provided on this visit. John showed up with his crew, work began immediately . The house was painted, some minor repairs were done and the patio roof repaired. The work began at 8 am and was finished, all cleaned up and the men left around 5 pm. I was surprised at how fast the work was done and totally pleased with the end result. I would recommend the company and will use them for the interior work when I decide to have it done.

John and his crew worked great for my exterior house painting and interior drywall / paint . The job was done very fast and the quality was top notch. Easy to deal with and answered any questions I had. Will definitely use this Pro again when needed.

Work was great so I had them come back and paint the whole house. John was easy to talk to and came often to check on the crew. I highly recommend them.

John and Sons were quick, thorough and professional during our project. They took the time to prep all surfaces and did a nice job of painting. They were flexible and were able to add on a few other areas that came up after the initial bid. My only feedback is that there were a few items that we needed to be put back in place and that was not done. Otherwise I would highly recommend John and Sons.

Very good quality, excellent prices and I feel like he is probably one of the most honest contractor I have ever dealt with. I am extremely pleased with the work he has done for me over the years.

I liked that John explained everything to us. He was very enthusiastic about his work. Once we decided to go with John and Sons, he came over that night to work on the contract, the next morning to do the power wash and prep, and the next business day (Monday) to start the painting. The inserts of our screen doors weren't painted originally but John came to get them taken care of about 1-2 weeks after the project. The only negative was that he preferred not to take credit card but he did work with us since that is what we planned to pay with. Overall we had a good experience and will use him in the future.

painter did not remove outlet covers,towel racks, door hardware but rather used masking tape thus leaving a line of the old paint around each fixture. did not paint all new base boards. Paint spray on A/C return grill. Did not reinstall closet poles. Did not reinstall door seals.Charged for the purchase, painting and hanging of a hollow core slab door but did not deliver and has made no effort to refund or otherwise compensate for the lack of delivery. I will not be recommending this painter
