This the third home SUNGUARD has painted for me. To start with they were very helpful working through the HOA requirements.

They were very timely and worked with my tenant to do the work at a convenient time. The painting process was very professional and they do the little extras that make the job one of the best values for the money in my opinion.

They power washed the house. sealed the cracks (you cannot tell where they were), Plus the painted under the patio roof and pointed  out that the patio roof needed sealing.  The lines where they changed colors are unbelievable straight .

"contacted me promptly after my request and scheduled an inspection of my steel roof which had been installed 11 years prior. he took pics and said roof was in perfect condition and only required cleaning of dirt and debris from valleys which he did. Had him inspect a second roof which I knew required sealing at all protrusions. I had also been advised by home inspector to check "possibly mushy" spot. Mr. Clemons advised the noted section was still fine and fixed resealed and painted all areas around protrusions. again, pics were provided before and after work was complete. Mr Clemons could have sold me a song and dance on both roofs...he did not. work was completed timely and there was no mess to clean up. would not hesitate to use again."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

A spray foam roof lasts 20 to 30 years if installed and maintained correctly. Spray foam roofs should be recoated every 10 to 15 years to maintain the UV protection and waterproof surface of the foam material. The longevity of spray foam roofing will depend on the thickness and density of the foam, the protective coating, and how well it’s maintained.

The short answer is, yes, cedar shakes do last longer than asphalt shingles. But the long answer is, it depends on maintenance. Asphalt shingles last about 20 years, while cedar shingles typically last about 30 years with proper maintenance. If they are very well maintained and installed in an area with a mild, drier climate, they can last up to 50 years.

In most cases and locations, roofs with a single layer of asphalt roofing shingles won't require roof removal before installing a metal roof. However, underlayment may be necessary on roofs with moderate shingle damage. Heavily damaged roofs or ones with multiple shingle layers will most likely require removal before a metal roof can go on.

While spotting a bit of algae on your roof may not bother you at first glance, it is certainly bothering your roof shingles. The presence of algae can cause decay and shorten the lifespan of your roof’s shingles, which can lead to much bigger problems down the road. While this issue may seem cosmetic at first glance, it goes much deeper than that.

You can technically install a metal roof over asphalt shingles, but it isn’t a good idea. This is because you’re essentially creating a moisture barrier under the metal, which can easily—and often does—lead to significant mold damage. Removing an asphalt roof isn’t terribly expensive, and some roofing companies might cut you a serious labor and disposal discount if you add it to a new install.
