"The insulation was blown in place and upon completion I took a look from one of my attic access ladders to confirm the installation and wrote a check. Two days later I took a look from my other attic access ladder and discovered that 2 of the supports for my roof ridge board had ben broken in half! No one else had been in the attic except the Climate Doctors crew. I informed them of the damage and the owner, Paul Boyd came over , viewed the damage and took pictures. He said he would contact me in 24 hours. He did not. I have called daily for 3 days and nobody has returned my calls. I was not informed by the crew of the damage they caused and when I showed it to the company owner he did nothing and did not even apologize for causing this potentially dangerous situation. I think this behavior is irresponsible and unprofessional and now will need to repaired at additional expense. I strongly do not recommend them!"

"I called Dring AC for a $70 "ac summer tuneup." The only reason I even called them was because they bought out the company that originally installed and maintained my origian AC, SunAir. At the time my AC was working without any issues. Dring came out on July 7 for the tuneup. He looked at the system and said there were parts that needed to be replaced. I specifically told him that I was did not want any repairs done because it was working fine and I asked for an estimate for replacement. He called a sales rep to come give me an estimate for replacement. While speaking with the sales rep, the tech said "I'm just going to replace your contactor to keep you running." which I did not authorize him to do. The contactor was one of the parts he claimed needed to be repaired, however I had already told him that I did not want any repairs done because the ac was already running fine. Then the tech came back inside and said after he changed the contactor, the capacitator blew. He then went to replace the capacitator, and a second one blew. Now I'm left with an ac that no longer worked, and according to Dring, was now unrepairable. This entire interaction is all on video, down to the last word, thanks to my home security system which covers both the interior and exterior of my house. At this point it's late on a Friday afternoon, my ac is out, its over 100 degrees outside and I have a pregnant wife and 3 pets living in the house. I had no choice but to move forward with having them replace the ac and was denied any opportunity to do my research or get quotes from other companies for replacing the system. On July 8, they came to replace the system. System was replaced, however, they were supposed to rerun the duct from the ac to the master bedroom and did not do so, despite that being one of my primary initial concerns not to mention was specifically told they would do that during the installation. They also took my $200 Nest thermostat and left a huge mess in the attic. When they "finished" the installation, I was handed an ipad to sign that didn't show me anything other than to sign. I received zero paperwork from the company at any point in time, not even for the loan I had to take out to pay for the replacement. Infuriated, I started to call other companies to get quotes and discovered I was SIGNIFICANTLY overcharged for the replacement system by almost double what it should have cost, literally thousands of dollars. Additionally, I have to find another company to come resolve the duct issue that Dring was supposed to complete and replace my Nest. I was also charged an additional $1k for service to clean all the hvac ducts, except when the duct cleaning company came, they informed me that there was no reason to clean the ducts since a majority of them had just been replaced. After filing a complaint with the BBB, the issue was considered to be resolved upon someone from Dring calling me and leaving one voicemail and then never returning my return calls. Not only was Dring's service reprehensible, it should be criminal to get away with the price gouging that they use. There's no better evidence for this tactic than their pricing timeline structure. Although it is commonplace for companies to use price incentives to encourage a purchase sooner rather than later, the sheer gap between their price for "today" vs one week vs one month, a gap of more than $10k, is just proof of how much they are padding their profits, all at the consumer's expense. At the end of the day, it is absolutely egregious for a company to come in for a tune-up, literally break your AC that was working when they arrived, and the extremely gouge you on the price of replacement. It's beyond egregious. I would NEVER let DRING touch my hvac unit EVER again. You've been warned."

"My new air conditioner is truly a work of art! I obtained several proposals and while most of them were within a few percentage points of each other in terms of cost, I chose Efficient Home Solutions. There were several reasons. First, David took the time to show me the math about my CFM airflow problem. I have been short about 800 CFM all these years and it's probably why my other unit wore out after 12 years. I got a 5 ton Lennox unit and David explained the differences between it and a comparable Trane (which I had previously installed). I think having a local company with access to parts in the future was a great reason to pick Lennox. The unit is a beast. Secondly, David brought his installation manager who carefully inspected my attic space and location of new return ducts. No one else brought theirs. This made a big difference because there would be no question as to what would work space-wise or not. Third, David also answered all my questions professionally and even explained many details I hadn't thought of (nor did any other service provider). I really like my Nest control and this unit cools within 40 seconds, and after 2 minutes, it's freezing! The family room is facing the hot west sun and now we can't even tell it's hot outside. I highly recommend them!"

"Overall went very well. We reviewed 3 bids and well rated service providers; AC & Heat Solutions provided a fair bid and performed the work professionally. Service came with a 2 year free maintenance, which was a nice bonus, and 2 year labor and parts warranty. We have an older 4 ton unit that needs to replaced soon, we will definitely hire AC & Heat Solutions to do the work again."
