"We used Kegonsa Remodeling for a major kitchen renovation in a nearly 100-year-old house. Before the remodel everything in the kitchen looked cheap and worn down (think 1970s brown, everywhere!), and the overall arrangement of the space was really inefficient. They came in and proposed a design that was the best balance of affordability and ideal features out of half a dozen contractors we interviewed. Once we began working with them, they provided consistent updates and met with us on a regular basis, enough so that even with unavoidable pandemic slowdowns, it still felt like the project was always moving forward. Once the remodel began, they had nearly daily updates for us on what was coming next, and the project actually finished ahead of schedule! Now we have a kitchen that has at least 3x the workspace, a significantly improved flow, and easily twice as much storage as our previous one did. "We had an internal house line leading to the sewer plugged on a Sunday. We couldn't run any water in the house without it coming out of the drain and into the basement. Based on all the positive reviews I read of KJM plumbing, I called Kurt and he was here within 20 minutes with his machine and cleared the clog, which took about an hour. Pleasant, polite man. The price was reasonable for a weekend emergency call. If I need a plumber again, he'll be the first one I'll call."

"A plumbing repair" could range from perhaps a $150 minimum service charge up to tens of thousands of dollars for a substantial repair and associated cleanup, finish work, etc.

Plumbing costs obviously vary from job to job. You can expect to pay anywhere from $225 - $400 for your average repair of a faucet or toilet. Frozen broken pipes are a much more difficult item to put a price tag on. The best course is to try to correct it as soon as possible: These tend to get worse rather than better, which means more costly. You will obviously be paying more for after hour emergency services, but time is of the essence.
