I had used Pertzborn in the past for a number of projects, so they are always the first people I call. They looked up the information on that model and found out the warranty was still in effect (amazingly). Phil arrived within 2 hours and the replacement was done quickly and efficiently. I have never been disappointed in the professionalism, service or quality of this company and will definitely continue to call them for any work.

Excellent! We are very happy with all of the work that Pertzborn Plumbing did for us during our remodel. They are very dependable, accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional in every respect. No plumber is going to be inexpensive, but their prices are fair and their work is superior and you get what you pay for. Whenever I have plumbing needs, I will be calling Pertzborn Plumbing.

Pertzborn was able to come out within about 3 days of us calling them. We had Jake as our plumber. He was on time, courteous and efficient. He went right to work and did a great job. He cleaned up nicely and took our old toilets away at no additional charge. Jake wore covers on his shoes to keep the areas clean. The estimate was approx. what we thought it would be. We used a coupon for $25 that was on their web site. We would definitely use them again.

Due to the location of the leak, I was forced to shut the water off to the entire house. Pertzborn responded to my home within three hours of me making the call for service. Our plumber listened to my need, made sure I understood what he was going to do, answered a couple short but unrelated questions and got the work done fast - replacing that section of pipe and adding a T with a shut off valve for a future refrigerator water line. This is our second experience with Pertzborn as they also installed our water heater two years back. They are my first call going forward. Thank you.

The estimate was quoted for about 24 hours work, finished in less than 18 hours, but still was charged for 24 hours. Out of all the jobs done, the laundry room sink was leaky, my new laundry room under board was all soaked and almost ruined. The new bathroom shower was leaking too. One positive thing was that they did honor their warranty and came fixed them.

"The work was performed under a signed proposal for a set amount. After the work was completed and we learned of the customer's displeasure with the invoice for the proposal amount, we attempted to explain to the customer that proposed work is at that set amount. We also advised the customer that the hours on the job site do not represent the ENTIRE hours on the project, i.e., getting materials, travel time, clean up, etc. We adjusted the invoice down for this customer as well as took care of any warranty items. We are disappointed the customer had an experience that was less than 100% but we provided the work, within a reasonable time and within what was proposed, for the customer."

Very well. I recommend Ryan. He explained what was going on and mentioned that I should get a different tub spout which would work better. I did get the spout and he returned to finish the job. It works well now and no more leaking.

Our technician was fantastic. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the shower head. When I asked about the shower faucet handles that had issues in both showers, he immediately suggested a fix and everything is working beautifully. He was prompt, quick and thorough. Really appreciated his professionalism and knowledge.

Project proved challenging in that original work was not up to code. Tub was not properly vented, which explains why it was always slow to drain. Not a problem for Shaun of H.J. Pertzborn, however. Despite prep work by homeowner, Shaun had to enlarge hole cut in closet wall/ceiling for better access to upstairs tub piping and trap. Project took longer than anticipated. Expected higher bill, but we were billed for the original estimate. Can't say enough about H.J. Pertzborn. Highly recommend them. First time H.J. Pertzborn did work for us. Had used another plumber for years. Won't name the firm. While a rep came and checked out the situation, we never received an estimate. Followed up with calls and emails, but no response.

Showed up on time and fixed the problem rapidly. Recommended that I use hot water in the dishwasher (and warm in the washing machine) to prevent another sludge buildup. If you only use cold water, or too much cold water, you end up with a bill from the plumber for a disposal and frustration.

Went well. Fixed promptly and professionally. Only tiny thing was they had to order our choice of faucet, which really wasn't a problem as our old faucet is useable and we were able to pick a quality faucet with advice from technician.

We had a sewage smell coming from one of our bathrooms. I had thought something must be clogged in the toilet drain, but the plumber immediately figured out that it was coming from a floor drain in the shower (a shower which we never use), and he explained that the standing water in the U-trap eventually evaporates if unused, and this allows sewage odor to back up. All that needed be done was run the shower for a few minutes, and that took care of it.

It was a very good experience. The employee, Jesus, arrived right on time or maybe a few minutes early. He cleared the blockage and explained a lot about the procedure while he worked. Afterwards, I asked him more questions about the pipes in the house, and he had all the answers I wanted. I can't provide the exact cost, as I haven't received the invoice yet, but I think it will be about $137, as he was here less than an hour (one hour is the minimum charge).

Fine. But plumber was 45 minutes past the latest time they told me he would come. No phone call. I had to call them and was told they were just about to call me, and the plumber was on his way, but as he was halfway across town, it would take a while longer.

All work was performed as scheduled and very quickly. Due to unforeseen personal problems we had to cancel the original dates for the work and then reschedule at a later date. They were extremely accommodating and everyone that we came into contact with was courteous and professional. They also answered all questions and scheduling changes that we had to make very quickly/in less than 24 hours. They left the work area neat and clean. We will not hesitate to hire them again and have already recommended them to friends.

Repair work went well. Plumbing is expensive but Bethke was competitive with several other companies I received quotes from in the Madison area. Bethke also responded the quickest which is why I ultimately went with them.
